    • I tried the generic code L2B20 on my account but it’s giving me an error despite listing 5 items during the promo period

      • They might be activating them in batches, once they show up on your My eBay Summary you should be good to go.

    • Just used L2B20 to buy for $81

    Not even bothering.

just returned mine to them. extremely rude customer service from Logitech eBay and the scroll wheel was the worst ive ever used.

    • +1

Really? Where you trying to game with it? I got a 3s and a 3 for Business and I'm loving them both, I'm not a gamer though.

      • +3

no just scrolling the internet and stuff was only scrolling upwards though. googled it and seemed like a widespread problem so sadly ill be looking for something else. It was such a nice feeling mouse though so i am disappointed.

        • -1

Everything mass produced these days has its quality control issues, fallback on the warranty to get a replacement and see how you go with a new one.

    • +2

I'm returning mine too. I'm getting cramps using it. Polling rate is bad as I got used to a gaming mouse. I'll be trying the keychron m6.

      • Yeah, even for a strict productivity mouse, 125 Hz gives you a mushy laggy cursor even in Desktop situations. Crazy in 2024/2025.

      • Try logitech lift vertical

    • +1

Have the same issue. Recently got one for free from work, and the scroll wheel is a massive downgrade on my seven-year-old Anywhere. If it's in one of two settings, it will roll for a good 10s after you've scrolled - meaning whatever you load will just scroll endlessly to the bottom of the window. It's also so light and sensitive. After wanting one of these for years I am switching back to my ancient Anywhere.

    • I'm so glad to hear I'm not alone in this. My g304 felt a lot nicer to use on Windows. I spent ages trying to get the scroll to feel consistent but about 1% of the time the mx master scrolled in the wrong direction.
Went straight through ebay for the return and didn't have to deal with logitech

    • extremely rude customer service from Logitech eBay

I've had very good service from them. They replaced my faulty 3s promptly without giving me any hassle.

  • +2

My mx master 3 just over a year before it got red light of death. Replaced batteries and Nada.

    Just bought a rapoo mt760 for $50

    • thoughts on the rapoo? $75 on ali with a wireless charging base.

      • +1

I bought the Rapoo recently and i retired the MX master.

        1) Rapoo has one of the most satisfying clicks ever, it's silent but tactile
        2) Rapoo is way lighter thus easier to use

That being said, Rapoo software is bad and side scroll is worse but i am still loving it. Can be had for about 40$ off their ebay store (make an offer )

        • +1

          Yeah same opinion.

Clicks are silent and mushy but prominent. Feels like buttons on a ps controller, mushy but you know exactly when it will click.

Side scro is loose, feels cheap.

No infinity scroll wheel, again light scroll vs mx master.

        • Can u describe what makes the side scroll bad? Can you change how much it scrolls?

          • @Oauiii: can you describe what you use the side scroll for? i use the top one for scrolling webpages/word.. the side on the mx master 2s feels odd on the thumb

      • Whoch one bob?

    • interesting thanks for this suggestion. What's the different between this and the L version that's $100?

  • Got one on last deal from Amazon for $89, honest review - mx master 2S is the best of all time. For the following personal reason 3S is not living up to the expectations:

    • slightly smaller than 2S, not perfect fit for palm
    • the scrolling is the most frustrating thing. No matter what settings i change, the scrolling seems lag a bit, specially on a long page

Yet still using it, 2S for the office, 3S at home 😁

    • The 2 is the GoAT, 5 years and it's strong as. Only thing I don't like about these master mouse is the baked in mouse smoothing, wish it was more like gaming mouse with direct input.

      • I have the original MX master (no numbers.) Still going at 12 years old but keeping an eye out for a replacement shortly.

    • I like it small

    • +1

Still rocking my 2s too. I had to open it up because the cursor wasn't moving. There's an issue with the button in the thumb rest which you can disable the button in software or slightly unscrew the little control board.

      • +1

Had the same problem with the 2s too.

      • +1

I had this issue I think, the problem was it got stuck down. Cut away the plastic over the top of the button, now the mouse works fine, and I find the thumb button actually easier to push now that its naked.

        • +1

I didn't want to butcher mine. Heated the sticky mats under the mouse with a hair dryer and they came off easy.

    • You can pair it by dongle or bluetooth. Bluetooth inherently has lag.

  • I used to have a Master and couldn't understand why it was so highly regarded. Yes, it's ergonomic and the horizontal scrolling is neat but the left and right click buttons were mushy while the side buttons were far too rigid.

  • +1

    Thanks OP! Bought one.

  • -2

I bought one roughly 2 months ago and I can't locate it. It's in my house somewhere in the shipping box.

I was meant to bring it to work after the holidays to try it out. Anyone feels like their brain is no longer as sharp after kids?

    • +3

Ask your cat we cant help

  • How good is it comparing to a normal mouse for office use? What can it do that a normal mouse can't?

    • +2

Ergonomics, people can describe its the best feeling mouse ever but you won't know until you use it yourself.

      Other things it can do
      - side scroll
      - gestures
      - magnetic/infinite scroll
      - track anywhere including transparent glass (this is what originally made me buy the mx performance)
      - per app basis customisation

      • Thank you for the information.

  • One benefit - if you’re in a meeting and haven’t muted yourself, and using mouse a lot.. the other person won’t hear a single click. This mouse is super silent

    • +1

Not super silent. Logi M650 is way silent than 3s.

  • +2

$81 with student beans - FYI

  • I am still rocking the original MX (1). Its been more than 10 years and still going good. The only issue is battery degradation, now I have to recharge every 3-4 weeks, whereas it used to be every couple of months.

The recharge port is mini usb so need to hold onto that ancient cable type.

  • +1

Good price, but the store's customer service is appalling!

    • +1

Horrid to deal with arent they.

  • +3

Perfect timing. I had a mouse in the office that decided to eat the plastic off my Master MX 2s. Yes.. A mouse ate my mouse.

Time to buy this and a mouse trap.

  • +1

I use a couple of Rapoo MT750S at work and home for over a year now.
Great mouse for half the price with similar form factor and functionality.

  • Wish they'd release a new model, technology generally evolves in 5 years.

  • this is the best mouse I have owned for daily use. Highly recommend even at this price

  • +1

Perfect timing. My 18 month old Logitech M720 scroll wheel has become so stiff even after opening and cleaning. Thanks OP!

  • I've had this for months, had a G903 before for gaming that I left plugged in for a while. I packed it up. This does it all and is far more comfortable. Plus I can throw it in the bag to take to work. Home it pairs by dongle, lag free. Work it pairs by bluetooth. To laptop and desktop (3 device pairing button on the bottom).

One mouse to rule them all. Oh and a charge last weeeeeeks.

I wonder if this is the same guy that used to run "The Logitech Shop" at Carlingford NSW - aka Eddie from Fluidtek

Never been to a shop where i walked in, watched old mate behind the counter finish his ciggie and spark up another one, then sell me a video card like 20% cheaper than anywhere else whilst having a pretty standoffish demeanor :)

    • Eddie is a legend! No f***s given.

Not sure if he's still running Logitech Shop or not…

      • he was a unique character all right
And my Geforce 200, 400, 600 series cards all killed for AT LEAST 2 years till they melted :D
