What's the cheapest nbn you can get for 50/20 at the moment?

    Don't know what Dodo's current plan is. But Mate have $60 a month.

      Mate's 100/20 plan is also $60 per month for 6 months after a discount.

      YMMV, but I went with Mate for their cheap plans, but had nothing but almost daily drops and speed issues for months before I swapped to Exetel.

      I've been back on Exetel for about 2 weeks and haven't had a single issue.

      I'd avoid Mate and look at other options

        Mate has one of the worst customer reviews- tried them once and learned my lesson the hard way. Will stay away from them!

        I was just trying to figure out if my constant drops were because Private Internet Access vpn was messing something up, or a bug in the latest Mac OS or if it was Mate internet. I've only been on Mate for two months and it did just start recently. I usually fix it by turning wifi on/off quickly, but I can't be sure that that doesn't "fix" it just because the drops are quick and over about the time I realise what's happened.
        Your comment suggests it really could be a Mate issue, so maybe I should switch back to another again.

          Its been a month since this comment, exetel still going strong, 0 drops. If I were a betting man, I'd be leaning towards mate

            @impulse102: Thanks. I'm not eligible for Exetel discount though as I was signed up to them before Mate. Think I'll try Tangerine again as I don't remember having any issues with them a few years ago.
            Literally had another drop trying to comment this and had to retype.

    Recommend Siptalk - 50/20 - $60.50 for 3 months then $71.50 … Excellent service, daily billing (providing ability to suspend) & appear to be amongst lowest for the long term. Others - Dodo offering $20 off for 12 mths ($63.90 then $83.90) & Flip $64 mth for 4 mths then $73.90.
