So, if it does everything it claims to do, can I replace the slow (100 gallons per day) and expensive RO DI filter with this shower head?
Membrane tech is pretty incredible. I'm sure it does some filtration just not sure to what efficiency. But I wouldnt neg the deal for this reason.

This is a piece of junk with no testing to show the filter effectively turns hard water to soft water effectively for 3 months.

How can this not reduce water pressure, while my puratap has to be slow as anything to filter the water properly.
$49 for replacement every 3 months, I hate unnecessary waste generation. Get a whole house water filter if you truly need one (hint: most people don't)
$200 a year and the replacement filter is listed as sold out. So you would have to buy a whole new one and it will most likely not be on sale so it will cost more. So even more than $200 a year.

That’s all well and good, and I’m interested in one… but my question is, the refills? When the snake oil is all depleted, can I just use regular snake oil, or do I have to buy the branded one? Is it refillable? Or are they snake oil cartridges? Can I use the Aldi snake oil capsules in this unit?
