  Err, I thought this was a 15 case, darn. Still an all right saving given that mixed cases are rare.

    I'd also like to point out that, to my delight today, I discovered that Aldi Rekorderlig is imported, and 4.5% alcohol compared to the locally distributed ones which are 4%. So 1.8 standard drinks per bottle (according to the compliance sticker) for Aldi, compared to 1.6 standard drinks elsewhere. And you can get them singly for $4.99, rather than having to buy by the case to get down to a $5 per bottle price.

        I just happen to have one of each handy…

        Aldi front label says:

        Strawberry-Lime
        Swedish pear cider from Vimmerby
        Strawberry-lime flavored [sic]
        Alc 4,5% vol [note use of euro comma for decimal]

        Normal front label says:

        Premium Strawberry-lime cider
        Premium cider from Sweden
        Serve well chilled
        4.0

        Rear labels are quite different, the Aldi one actually lists the ingredients, normal one doesn't, it just says how to best serve it. Both ones say "produced in Vimmerby, Sweden".

        Taste wise, don't know. I haven't opened an Aldi one yet.

      You are aware some of the Rekorderlig do actually have 4.5% vs others which only have 4% tho? As you can see in this image here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=261… 2 out of 4 have 4.5% vs 4%

      Also id rathe pay $4 per bottle and sabe the .5% and put that into another bottle… (Buying the case of 15 that is)

        Don't know about their picture, but I was comparing one bottle i bought from Dan Murphy's, which looks like every other bottle of Rekorderlig I've had, to the one I recently bought from Aldi. Both strawberry and lime, but aldi one at 4,5% and dan murphy one at 4.0.

        Just cracked an aldi one, and it's tasting a little more pear-y than the dan murphy 4.0 one. but very subtly.

  I was able to get DM to Price Match Jims Cellers for $60 per case (15x500) of the Mixed berry and Str+Lime

  This is a great buy for anyone inserted in testing the different flavours at $5 a bottle tho its not the cheapest but good mix

  If in SA head into your local BWS and grab 15x500ml of kopperberg for $60. Mix and match all you want. Personally I think its just as good.
