I got a bag of cherries in my grocery delivery from Coles yesterday. Almost half of them were rotten, and the rest were tasteless. Sad that cherry season is over.
Almost half of them were rotten
Why did you buy the rotten ones? 😲
It was a delivery order so I didn't get to choose it myself. On the plus side, it's really easy to put in a claim for 'damaged' goods received. Which is helpful because I've received a fair amount of off produce from Coles in the past couple of months…

So why keep ordering from them ?
@jv: For my current circumstances, it's not practical to cease online ordering for grocery delivery to my house. I could switch to Woolies, but honestly I've got the Coles app setup with the products I order most frequently, and lists for my typical recipes and what I need for them. There's a big time and effort cost to make the change, so for now I put up with the frustration. Importantly, though I take pictures of the bad produce, I've never needed to provide them to Coles and there has been no pushback from them on putting credit on my account, so for the time being it's just not worth the effort to switch.
@keeperofthegood: I find it quicker and easier just to pop into the supermarket and buy what i need and choose the quality i want.
Who doesn't like loose cherries…
