    To anyone actually buying this, I can only strongly suggest making sure the $8.95 shipping is with a reliable carrier and/or includes insurance. A $10k camera is worth more than $8.95 postage.

    I just don't get how people gravitate towards a Leica.

    I don't think I've ever seen anyone pro shoot Leica at events (sporting or private events).

    $10K for this, I just don't get it. It’s not a medium format, or has global shutter that can do ProRes, or shot @ 120 FPS….what’s its party trick other than a red dot?

    Without looking, is its nearest spec-for-spec competitor is the Sony A7CR, isn’t that sub $4K body?

    As someone that shots @ 60MP on a A7R, the lack of buttons,shortcuts,presets ergonomics would slow me down a lot. For 10K I could get the A7R and the A7RC and maybe a fast lens if I needed two bodies of different sizes.

    I know, I know, it’s not targeted at me. I’ve been in their store at QVB, it’s the Lecia colours, it’s the exclusivity. Owners will prob shoot with in-camera JPEG.

    Even if I had the Q3 43, I’d still be a rubbish photographer.

    I'll shut up now!

    It's OK for enthusiastic amateurs, but the real cognoscenti will go the extra distance for a medium format camera, such as the Hasselblad 907X.
    Though when possible, such as in my studio, I stick to large format.
