This has been discounted by almost all the major players as part of boxing day sales, from 2.5k to 2k. This group has it further reduced to $1799. Surcharges: 1.2% VISA & MasterCard, 1.7% American Express, 2.2% PayPal, 3.9% Afterpay.

I managed to get it price matched a short time ago from a major player (without any dramas) and picked up with no stress.

Hope somebody else benefits also.

Ends tonight.

  • Great deal ! Are you able to dm me the major player ?

    • Was JB. I imagine they will all do it though

    • +5

      I wonder why the secrecy.

      • +3

Wasn't a secret, just didn't want people thinking that only one retailer would price match. They all have similar price matching policies.

I only went JB because I had vouchers. But others might have had HN (for example) from their recent promotion.

        • Fairies muff.

  • +8

Now it’s only 50% more than the Americans pay. Damn, how lucky are we?

  • +1

Was considering it and considering an AfterPay payment. +3.90% fee. Anyone seen that before? First time I have.

    • +1

That would have been against their merchant agreement

  • Harvey Norman refused price match with excuse like Device Deal is not leading retailer. JBHIFI price matched for me without issue.

    • +4

lol… why did you even bother going to HN?

      • might be location/closer? less hassle to get to first…

    • Wonder how they determine what makes a retailer "leading"… there's nothing about "leading retailers" in the exclusions lolol

Reolink 2k Camera $100, SD card $20 each, Mini Solar Panel $30each. Bought 4 and installed around the house. $600 total with same/similar features (mobile viewing, notifications, microphone to speak to person in camera sight, vehicle+human recognition based recording etc). Don't fall for so called specials.

    • +2

2k lol. 4k and the lenses in these Eufy babies are streets ahead.

      • +6

do yourself a favour and get a wired/ POE set
wifi cameras will never be as good as wired ones
personally I'd get something like this https://reolink.com/au/product/rlk8-820d4-a/?attribute_pa_ve…

which could be had for $500 odd on sale. even if you budget $1k for cabling it's still cheaper without the need for any subscriptions

        • +4

Eufy doesn't need subscription as well btw

          • @meong: that's good to hear, I get it mixed up with Ring and Arlo. The problem with wifi cam is regardless of how good the hardware is you can't get 24hr recording/playback and cloud storage will always cost a premium. much easier to just set up a NVR system from the get go

@May4th: Eufy with Homebase 2 was limited as it didn't allow external drive.

Homebase 3 that is bundled in this deal allows external drive.

      • Reolink 4k got heaps camera too if do a little research, like eco ultra plus solar panel about $210, if you bundle 4, it’s only $840. Buy some memory card and you won’t exceed $1k. So don't say street ahead If u are comparing oranges to apples.

    • +1

Im a Reolink fan too, not sure how much this would be better at almost triple the price.

      • wired would require more work to install - if you cant work a drill and need to pay someone to install it theres a decent cost.

        and not good for renters?
and for owners -if u move out it'll be hard to uninstall and take to new house.

    • Pls share the link. Is it the Reolink CX410 from Amazon?

  • Shame OOS so no deal on the 2 pack too

If you search YT for the comparison reviews, the lenses are way better the the above deal.

      • Wow no sheet you are right

If you’re going with this one, just picked one up from Bunnings for $989.10. They were happy to price beat device deal.

  • Bought the 2C pro 2k 3 camera kit for $450 after the 15% welcome promo. Good value imo for anyone with a tighter budget

    https://goodbuyz.com.au/products/eufy-security-cam-2c-pro-2k…

    • this one is not recommended as you are getting Homebase 2 which can only store 4GB max and not expandable.

      • 16gb*
Also worth getting refurbed if there’s stock

Can get refurb from them though with 20% off code decently cheap. Tbf I upgraded to HB3 and actually get less/skipped motion detection on my main driveway camera after the upgrade

        • Yeah that's why im eyeing this… I got a doorbell and HB2 and 4GB is definitely not enough for additional cameras 😅
