Really that special for a 1920 monitor? centrecom had samsung 27s a while back for $300 with a free hdd

This monitor has a Response Time of 5ms. This is unsuitable for gaming or watching TV on it. Need at least 2ms. $270 appears to be a normal price after googling around.

  Get real mate. TV and gaming is absolutely fine on my 6ms Yamakasi.

  Unsuitable = meaning 'not recommended' 5ms produces ghosting that is noticeable on high end games such as COD2 etc and TV sports in full HD. I guess if you want to play Pacman then she'll be right mate.

Compare with: BenQ GW2750HM 27" LED has 4ms and is $259; 27" LG E2711T LED Monitor has 5ms and is $239 and 27" Samsung S27B550 LED Monitor has 2ms and is $259! Save yourself $31 and get the LG or save $11 and get the BenQ, or save $11 and get the Samsung.
