I got the smaller one of these, am now wishing I got this size, cooking lamb shanks in the smaller one the length of them doesn't fit much per layer.
    It's a great appliance tho.

    • If it was the 3L you bought that was posted earlier? Did you read the comments below??😉

      • Haha no it was the 5.7l, that is funny seeing the exact comments about lamb shanks in there too tho

Better getting the 5.7l at $99

    • Depends on whether you cook big batches or how big your family is. Plus some stuff just won't fit, e.g. lamb shanks.

Is that the duo plus? I can't see the 5.7l for $99

I would advise the opposite. Get the 8L if budget and kitchen allow.

    • There's not much value in these unless they're 8L+ really tbh.

The 3L & 5.7L models just seem like a waste of space.

      • why? isn't 8l too big for just 1-2 people?

        • -1

Even single people have to eat at least once a day.

These are great for bulk cooking, the smaller units are terrible for bulk cooking.

Think soups, curries, bolognese, broths etc. Things you can meal prep, and portion out in fridge and freezer.

If you want to do single portion cooking, get a rice cooker instead.

  • Costco has 8 in 1 same brand for $119 ish
    I bought 2. Very handy
