+$7 fee to pay the scum Ticketek

  • I highly doubt they are doing it because of boxing day. Its more that they using boxing day as a excuse because otherwise people wont go

    • 24,000 to their last home game? Yes it won't be as big as that for this game, but most codes of sport have ticket offers.

      • A league have way more ticket offers for their games, regularly have free tickects to games and even those have crap crowds. outside of the major derbies, the crowds are shithouse and interest is waning. I used to be a semi regular viewer. But then changes made have made it harder to watch. And since last year, i have barely watched a game and cancelled my membership with the club i support. Although. The last part is due to outside reasons. Not to do with the game

        • How have you gauged that A-League has way more ticket offers for their games? I see plenty of discounted NBL, Big bash tickets across their leagues pretty much every week through sponsored ads.

Agree with you that interest is waning in A-League outside of the big games, particularly in Melbourne (a problem they are trying to address through discounted tickets)

          • @Phil21: I do see tickets for other sports on sale. But never at the constant rate of A league. With BBL i honesty don't see it lasting til the end of the decade with how the crowds have been also.
I understand they are trying to address the issue with cheap or free tickets. However, it isn't working. They need some big overseas signings again i reckon to get interest back up.
