Lifetime is a scam for all these subscriptions

    • Hi, @mr_asstight,

We have been providing Lifetime subscription since 2017.
We have almost 1M+ happy customers. I would be more than happy to welcome you to the family.

      • I cannot find any details about the family. About Us page does not have any, probably by mistake?

What is the company legal name, which country is it incorporated, who are the owners? Who is CEO? ABN or equivalent?
Just curious, before joining the family.

Ah, phone numbers and mailing address would be great too!

        • I believe these guys are just resellers.

    • As per Stacksocial lifetime is the lifetime of the product, not the purchaser's lifetime. It's not a forever licence.

As for.these guys & plenty of other VPN companies, it maybe 10yrs, it maybe 10 minutes. Unlike software VPNs require service with ongoing costs which is why I used to doubt that any VPN provider will be around for long because that's a terrible business model having a one-off cost. sometimes it's just introductory pricing trying to get customers.

But the pricing on this is about the same price as a yearly cheap VPN provider. so if it lasts for 2 years, you've done pretty well. I've have a few lifetime vpns including this.

The 2nd longest one I had was Ivacy which I purchased in 2016 ($us27 US for a lifetime), PureVPN has terminated that last month after buying them out (I could have rolled across to them until 2026 but I really dislike them & I have a 3yr plan with them). The longest is Getflix which is 50yrs (or until they cancel the product, but its 10yrs in Feb)

These cheap lifetime deals are good for backups.
I still reckon the 9x% Nord cashback deals are the best.

TLDR: They're not necessarily a scam, but a cheap back-up.

    • I got a lifetime vpn license from them for at least 6-7 years. It works great.

  • Works in china?

  • I jumped on the bandwagon earlier this year. I also use purevpn. Fastest is faster.

  • Seen ads for this floating around on other websites. Had a quick look on reddit. Comments seemingly very inconsistent…..

  • I bought their lifetime deal. Then they changed the name to "Pro" and cut me off from all new servers and features. Avoid, it's a rip-off.

      Hi @sav11

This issue has been resolved. Please log out and re-login your app to access all new servers and features.
If you still having problem accessing new servers, please send me a separate message so I'll take care of it personally.

      Thanks,

Thanks, you are right. I logged into the app and now have access to all the servers by the looks.

At the time customer support told me I'd have to upgrade to the "Pro" subscription to get access which left a nasty taste in my mouth (needless to say I didn't pay more). But yep now I have access.

  • Extremely slow when I trialed then, refunded it.

    Bought it from Stacksocial https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/fastestvpn-pro-lifetime-su…

Use one of the 100% cashback offers and keep rotating them until you've used them all instead, unless you're just after a web browsing VPN

    • I just connected to their Syd server , ran a speed test 86/35 (on a 100/40 connection).

What servers/cities were you connecting on?

One issue I had the other week I was checking their servers to see which of their servers didn't show YT ads. Everyone (about 10 countries), YT knew I was in Oz (They offered suns in $Aud), So obviously they're leaking a local IP address. ipleak.net showed it was leaking IP, but not mine.

      • I was on Sydney server when I tested, maybe they've improved things since then. I barely got 10mbit on speedtest.net, on 1gbit NBN

  • I am a bit sus about good deal VPNs. I get the one year for cheap offer to get you hooked but cheap lifetime sounds like it is run by a government that is more than happy to check what you do. Especially if it includes a pwd manager. But I guess if we all just use it to stream US shows early then who cares :-D

    • sounds like it is run by a government that is more than happy to check what you do

I don't think the government needs to offer a lifetime subscription service and hope you sign-up to enable them to be able to check what you do..

Also, how much tinfoil you got left? Amazon might have some Boxing Day deals for some quality foil that is perfect for making hats!
