Wow great price!
Absolute junk of a phone. Ever since the last update 6.1, 5g constantly drops out, and you have to restart your phone. I’ve raised it with Samsung who are looking into it and trying to get my money back. Just google it and you will see lots of complaints. Worst phone I’ve ever bought and will be going back to S Series or even google if I don’t get a good outcome.
I really hope this phone works ok, my wife will kill me otherwise.

Although this phone is okay it's just that , okay with glitches. I really expected better from Samsung to be honest…

Have the same issue and thought I was alone.
Now I'm tossing between return it or wait for UI 7 that coming soon, or my Kogan mobile aka Vodafone will combine with Optus by next year and some how fix that problem.
The Officeworks Price Beat Guarantee policy is just a joke. Last week, I went to Harvey Norman for a Motorola G85 Urban Grey, and then decided to go to Officeworks to get it cheaper. The staff there said that he knew it was the same model, but the product code (which is different because this number belongs to the store itself) must be exactly the same in order to price beat it. The barcode and model number are the same.
I had to argue a little, a little, to get it as well. The girl I first spoke to was saying that Ebay was not to be beat, I said. I have done it many times before, and I have.
Boss wandered over and said, nope it is fine it is with a real seller Bing Lee and it happened immediately.
Exactly why when it comes to price beats, I always say, "It depends on the staff."
They do the exact same thing at Bunnings with slightly different model numbers (that can only be found in their stores most of the time) to get away with not having to honour the price beat.
every store uses different product codes for their internal inventory purposes. the model number is the part which should be exactly the same, the model/ean has to match as manufacturers produce slightly different devices for different regions and pricing can end up different. there are rules against matching international grey import stock because australian devices often have different internals. if he is seriously looking at product numbers you should have asked him to call his manager down because that is stupid as hell.
the price beat policy is not a joke, it's generally very good - it just depends on whether the 17 year old highschooler at the till is actually following policy or not.
Funny thing is, he said he knows it is the same phone, but he has to follow policy. Since I didn’t need it urgently, I walked away and bought the Motorola Edge 50 Neo today at JB Hi-Fi.
This or Motorola edge 50 pro is they were similar priced?

Had it for just over 6 months had no issues so far.
Edge ATM is just under $800 though.
On paper the Edge seems a better phone BUT has a curved edge.
No sdcard support for the Edge but 12G 256GB vs 8GB 128GB for the A55

Tried to buy off binglee black friday sales for 452 delivered, requested a refund after they responded to my email "out of stock and would be sent when available."
Got the refund and walked straight into Harvey Norman $548 plus a $100 gift card…. so equivalent to $448.
last month November 2024.Still have the gift card it will help with a drone on special that I have my eye on…
Bought one for mum yest. at Costco for $469.98 + 2% cashback. No complaints yet, so I guess she liked it.
Add a $3 item to cart on eBay and use SNSM11 to make it ~$450
The $358 Motorola Edge 50 Neo is a cheaper and better value option if Samsung is not needed
