Hi everyone, my household is currently on an AGL internet plan (Home standard) but with the price increase coming soon, we're looking to swap to a cheaper internet plan.
We're currently looking at Dodo's $64/month plan at 50mbps but I wanted to ask the OzBargain community if there are any better deals out there. I'm also not too sure about how good Dodo is compared to the other internet providers out there either.

YMMV but I'm very happy after moving from 50/20 NBN to TPG 5G Home.
Be careful with going with TPG especially if you plan on churning as you would need to give them that annoying 30 days notice:
"For contracts other than fixed period contracts, the agreement will continue until it is terminated by either party on 30 days notice or otherwise in accordance with the agreement."
Check if you qualify for the free fibre upgrade too. Whoever you ISP with will eventually send you a letter, but they take their sweet time to do it.

Just moved from iinet at $85/month FTTC 50/20 to
Leaptel at $65/month FTTP 100/20 for 12 months fixed price.
However, i think the leaptel was a Black Friday sale so price appears back to $75/month.

No they don't. Only the referer not the referee.
100/20 is $64.95/m for 12 months with Leaptel if swapping from FTTN to FTTP and FTTC to FTTP.
100/20 is $74.95/m for 12 months if you already have nbn FTTP or are using another nbn tech type.
I would try any other ISP before I ever went back to Dodo.

I did the switch to dodo for two houses from AGL, working fine.
I prefer 1 year discounted plans.
Btw i called agl before leaving to try to get another discount but no success. But AGL sent me a discount offer after I left,
