So your first and only comment for this deal is to suggest a more expensive alternative, and encourage people to 'try their luck' with haggling? I realise the pick up location is limiting, but I find myself surprised that that was the only thing you had to say.

I'm not disputing that it might be helpful to some, however it was exeltek who brought us this deal… You don't think it rude to immediately suggest a competitor without even a single word concerning this post (the actual deal), on the off chance they might price match?
Bing lee is $100 more for the TV but $30 less for shipping (for me).
With a TV this size, unless you have a ute, van or trailer to keep it upright you almost always need it delivered. They should not be laid flat (eg. in the back of a station wagon).
It is a reasonable deal.. might be tempted for a second TV, 3D is still not worthwhile (unless it's 240Hz) and connecting this to a Rasberry Pi or HTPC gives much greater capabilities than inbuilt 'smart' features.
LCD's you can lay flat no worries, I think it was the primitive plasma tv's that couldn't be laid flat.
When I had my Samsung LCD fixed the guy laid it down and explained this to me.

Looks like a great deal. I don't need the Internet stuff as I have a HTPC that it will connect too. 3d would of been nice though. Can the people on the know advise on this Deal? Anyone expecting allot of deals in Jan?
