$299 has to be an ATL. Tracked it and bought for the missus earlier this year for $340+.
What's her verdict, any good, in particular for long hair down to the waist/hips?
She absolutely loves it. Initially had to get used to the shrill sound of the highest speed setting, which you'll find reviews talking about. But she, and even I, got used to it quite quickly – it's not a thing anymore. Plus, remembering it's because it blows really fast (I've read that it's faster than the Dyson Airwrap) and has saved a lot of time. It has even replaced her Remington hair dryer. She hasn't used it much for curling yet, but her most common praise is how quickly and easily she dries her hair at night, as well as the irony of how tidy and straightened her hair looks even though she's going to sleep!
Lol nice, thanks for the detailed response. Was looking for the Dyson wrap for the missus but it seems that it's more the brand name that people buy it. Looking for something that does the job just as good, if not better, and priced a little more affordable. Looks like this ticks the boxes.
@Trishool: I would definitely recommend the Shark. The only things I'd agree with the comparison reviews are that the placement of the buttons on the Dyson Airwrap seems more intuitive, and the 2-in-1 curler head is a tad more convenient for the frequent user. But for twice the price?? It makes no sense. The swivelling head, coupled with better max speed, max heat and price, on the Shark had me sold.
