I have 2 of these and they are absolutely great.

Dose this have a DC motor?

      • -3

        Nah

        • Can you please provide the source? Multiple descriptions are stating that it is DC which would make sense given it has a battery supply

      • +5

Surely it would be for a fan that can run from battery right? (and max power seems to be only 36W, too low for an AC motor in a fan like this)

    • Is it easy to clean the blades?

      • Very. You unscrew one screw, switch the front panel off, unscrew the little plastic knob holding the fan blade in and you can pull off the blade to clean it.

Just wondering how they compare to Vornado?

      • +3

Its way better. More powerful, and much quieter. I have both this and a vornado. Also it being wireless is also useful at times, but not a huge selling point because it doesn't last that long.

      • 2 year vs 5 year warranty.

  • It's crazy that Dreo isn't sold in Australia. Literally the best fans but to get them from Amazon US is so expensive and you need a 110V-220V adapter.
Does anyone know of any DC motor fans sold in Australia that aren't ridiculously overpriced?

$225 inc mist option with 'welcome10' code. i would get this to match my furniture colour in reading room. but its winter already and no longer needed for next 8 months in melbourne, i will wait as its just waste of warranty period when not in use.
