  i got the S7001 recently (for $179) and I've really enjoyed using it (hated mopping before it). not really sure what is new on this except the body looks a bit slimmer. for $180, this is a pretty good price.

    I believe the main difference is this one shoots out a jet of steam for spot removal.

      ah right, not sure where the steam comes out the s7001, but seems to do a good enough job.

      I'm not sure how useful that jet is, if it was one of the removable handheld steamers it would change my mind.

      I hate mopping, mostly because of sore forearms from mopping tiles, but this did take a lot of the annoying work of having to scrub hard to get rid of marks. overall pretty happy with it.

        have you tried mopping your walls with it before? i can do it with a manual mop…. but my current steam mop isn't able to

      it does leave it wet like it does with regular mopping, but i feel like it dries quicker

  I have the S7001 and it is great. I would prefer having a robot vacuum however the Shark steam and scrub mops does the job for the budget with more control and have yet to replace the original cleaning heads with third party spares from Amazon. A tank of water can usually do three or so small rooms with each taking five to ten minutes. It's not too noisy and feels light and effortless.

  Would buy again.
