I believe being small and ugly is one of the selling points of this combo. Also I have the one you linked and it's a horrible keyboard. Read the reviews.

I try and use those as my selling points too… Rarely works…

Be careful about how things looked, I got negged for saying how terrible a coloured mouse was!

The MK215 keyboard is unusable in my opinion and is manufactured e-waste. Please avoid, if you need the numpad, get the MK270 for a few dollars more.

  • If the MK240 had a numpad I would find it a worthy replacement for my aging K780 . So far I have not found anything that stands up to the K780 (low profile, aesthetics, price point & num-pad).

I have owned both the MK215 and the MK270, the MK215 suffers from being cheap and 'clacky' as well as the lack of bezel on it makes it uncomfortable to use as the keys bleed off the edge of the bottom. I still used the MK215 a lot since it fit nicely into the laptop bag.
The MK270 is better, but it is a much larger frame so it takes up a lot more desk space.

    • Just bite the bullet and get MX Keys. It's the best keyboard in this form factor.
