Can I buy the phone without a SIM plan?
No, all the phones are sold with a SIM plan.

    • No.But you don't need pay $30 more. You can buy a their current discount 28days plan and activate it, then login in this acount, you don't need to pay $30 more. Their website provide $10 28days plan, but you have to wait a delivery time, or you can purchase a physical sim from cole(WWS? this week there is a $12 for amaysim 28days plan). Caution! amaysim PAYG plan is NOT eligible for purchasing their phones!

Could get it for $299 with voucher. Concerned about battery life.

  • +3

Bad battery life about six hour sot.

    Depending on use.

    • +3

SOT is such a bad metric for battery life as everyone uses them differently.

      • +9

True, but 3700mAh battery is tiny by today Android standards.

        • True but we are approaching 3 years from when it was launched.

      • I'm using battery saver. Dark mode. 60hz screen. This phone is good for a light user.

      • +1

        What about s24 ultra?

      • 6 hours SOT sounds like at least two days of using it or more? I thought 6 hours would be good battery life

        • phones that comes with similar era usually have ~5000mah

Snapdragon 8Gen1 is particularly power hungry and will run HOT. and battery life will suck damn certain.
(don't mix it with 8Gen1+ , which is produced with TSMC process node and is so much more power efficient)

    • Who buys mini phones expecting great battery life?

  • Is $574 the total cost including the required SIM plan?

    • nope it excludes the plan, I guess you can use the one month plan for $30 and get the phone

    • $584 is the minimun cost.$574 phone price+$10 28days plan from amaysim website(20G 28days plan discount price). buy and activate plan first, then login when purchasing phone, you wont be charged that $30 extra.

  • S23 is 599 ?

    • +1

      That's the S23 FE

  • +4

Don't, if you care min battery life on a phone. get S23 instead

    • -2

If you can show us where you can currently get the S23 for less than $500, that would be helpful

      • +2

        This deal is $574 + $30 = $600+

S23 was around $691 if you can wait.

you can always go ahead and get this if you love to carry a battery pack

        • +3

I do agree, the battery life on the S23 is very good, and definitely worth paying more for, if you can get it

  • +3

    I still use my S10 though…

No complaints on the (original) battery.

      • +2

Maybe not, they said s10. I have the s10e though and felt proud before I saw this review. I still use it today and the battery still goes alright after 5 years. There has been nothing else of interest to me since buying this. Most phones are too big for my liking.

        • +2

If mine hadn't been stolen when my backpack was ransacked at a new year's rave, I might still be using mine too. Great phone, and a usable size unlike this comically oversized S23 Ultra.

I do like the folding phones however, and having the SPen.

        • +2

Im reading this thread on my s10e, still going strong 5 years later. Battery still lasts whole day, im not a heavy user though.

      • +1

I still rocking my s10. It broke early this year and I bought another s10. Samsung made better phones in the past.

  • +1

How did I miss that previous deal :(

  • How many of S22/S23 FE do they have in stock?! Since it started at $299 on November 1st until now (even through black Friday sale), there are still so many stocks?!

  • -1

    Exynos?

    • Did you look at the specs listed on the page?

      Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

  • +1

I bought this phone for $1249, screw you guys

It's a pretty good phone, still using it

    • +2

Please hand in your Ozbargain membership.

    • I hope that was at least at launch?

      • +2
