BIGW Kindle Touch 3G $119

10

Could be a print error because doesn't seem BIGW or DSE do Kindle Touch 3G in Australia and the photo is not the touch version either. DSE have the 3G version on the Kindle ads page with shop now button but didn't work when click on it.

But consider the price should be around $200 if comes with 3G or may be they will give you the touch or 3G keyboard version for $119 still a good price.

  • It's just the kindle wifi black, everyday low price, as they have advertised on there website. They are not advertising this as a special.

    • I understand that may be some can take the catalogue to them and ask for the touch or 3G version.

  • It's a typo. Better be quick if you want a price match.

Everyday low price. Please note this item does not come in 3G or Touch functions. BIG W apologises for any inconvenience or confusion caused.

Are you aware when referring to Outback Photo that is has been banned over the Nikon "deals" http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/88117#comment-1157385 posts?

  • It's $69 (with offers) or $89 (without offers) at amazon. - http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Ereader-ebook-reader/dp/B007HCC…

  • For what it's worth, the 3g on these is locked to Vodafone and is mediocre at best. Dick Smith has had a lot of returns with it - this is what they told a woman that hubby works with.

She had already been dealing with Kindle directly but was having a nightmare in doing so because of the shipping methods they required in sending it back to them, so she tried to return it to Dick Smith. Because Kindle was already involved, however, they would have nothing to do with it.

    • It is against the law for retailers to refuse warranty returns. ACCC is already taking action against HN for the exact same thing. If you are having issues check out your rights on the ACCC website and tell DS. If that fails make a formal complaint, you can do it easily online or by phone.

      Edit: link

    • the 3g is mainly for buying books from Amazon around world, not for surfing the net.

      • It still needs to work, regardless of its purpose

        • Not sure what you mean by 'work'.
I use my kindle for reading books, but also can check emails and news via 3g.

  • Just bought paperwhite for the same price through myus.com, before shipping, and in US$. Basic version with no touch, no backlight is not worth it.

  • i would rather buy a classic kindle for reading only
and a full feature android tablet when I need a tablet.
