Personally, I use the Etymotic ER-20XS ones but this is not a bad price, if you're looking for the Sennheiser brand with replaceable filters.

    • I was pleasantly surprised how good the Etymotics work. I've been front row at a metal concert and heard everything great. I love concerts but don't love tinnitus.

Why are these so highly rates in comparison at 1/3 price? https://www.amazon.com.au/OPEIIN-Ear-Plugs-sleeping-Noise-Re…

    • They look like a copy of the "Loop" ear protection ear-plugs.

Personally, I used Etymotic ones for ~20 years now,
and I got the old ones for about AU$ 15 before, and the new design, for around AU$ 21 .

    • Those earplugs have a different function; they're designed to muffle sound as the description says. Music earplugs like this Sennheiser are meant to attenuate sound more evenly so it doesn't sound like a typical earplug where all the highs are muffled.

It won't be perfect of course, but it'd be clearer than foam earplugs.

Would this block out snoring noises?

    • You can use the 'free' foam earplugs, to block out snoring noises.

In fact, just give the person snoring, those 'nasal band-aids' and that should reduce their snoring.

What if you can’t give the multiple snorers stuff to use.. like at a hospital when you are staying there for days and never can sleep? Which would be best to block out major snoring and sounds for a side sleeper please? I’ve tried foam ones and they didn’t work for me :(

  • Do make anything like these for kids?

I've tried so many ear plugs and most never do what they are advertised. Another expensive gimmick.

Which ones have you tried and what are you expecting them to do?

    • Why did you neg the deal? Have you tried it?

  • +2

Bought these can confirm they work used them at multiple fairly loud raves I've used cheap ones and had ear ringing afterwards no ear ringing with these even after 6+hours right near the front at the loudest place to be

    • I always support wearing these sort of ear protection, for those that go to loud-music events and/or need to 'lower the volume' of what they're hearing.

Personally, I have been using the Etymotic branded ones for ~20 years now, and these Sennheiser look interesting, because of the "interchangeable filters") but they are more expensive than the Etymotics I have currently.
