The plastic taste pushing me go for a new kettle with stainless steel interior. Tempting to get this when it's at $59. Got mine today for $42 via TGG price beat, or it's time to get/use Myer $20 voucher.

      Most bad reviews were regarding the 7000 series which has temperature control.

      The 2 bad reviews complain about limescale build up which the person may not be aware of, and the 2nd is about not having a proper seal when over tilting when pouring

    Reviews aren’t great. We needed up ordering the Kogan kettle which is similar but better reviews

    I went on the good guys website and it somehow found the discount and did a 10% reduction further.

    Damn I need a kettle that shows me what the current temperature is and can also let set to other temperature like this. Ideally would like to have a viewing angle or glass to see how much water is in it.
    Looks like bad reviews for the 7000 unfortunately. Anyone got any other suggestions?

      You can't set temperature on this kettle, it just boiled water. The feature for this kettle would be no plastic touching water.
