While we know the 'special', it's not much different to Coles/Woolies doing their regular half price on the same items every couple of months. I mean I never buy Shapes or Doritos at full price. Those half price specials are posted on ozb every week.

Recognised Actors aren't usually this cheap (he may not be Hollywood famous, but every nerd and office-spam-email-chain knows him).
And his prices DO genuinely sit at $100US for about 3 weeks of each month, so he IS running limited discounts (even if they're nauseatingly frequent).
Why people who don't like his service haven't hidden him, confuses me…

Mod removed my neg? This is not a bargain.
The most common reason mods do that is because people fail to show where it's cheaper elsewhere.
Tons of people mistakenly neg based on disinterest, rather than finding better prices.
OzBargain isn't like Reddit or facebook or such, it doesn't matter if someone 'likes it' - It's not popularity, it's purely the dollar sign.
I think it's hard to accurately value an actor, personally.
Tyrone's not my cuppa tea, but neither are half the other actors you can pay hundreds to, to get personalised messages.
Odd thing is why the mods pick randomly who to apply the rule to, and let others slide.
LOL as if mods follow their own rules…take a look at any deal with a nexus to politics (which I think ought to be banned), plenty of negs based purely on ideology or the accompanying comment in no way justifies the vote, but according to certain mods that is totally fine, because ideology > site rules.
This "deal" is posted monthly. It is not a "deal" if the price is always this price. It's like a rug store who permanently has a "going out of business sale".

As I explained, his advertising is at least honest, even if the sales are obscenely regular. It does return to the stated price after the first week or so of each month.

Dude the neg is absolutely used in a reddit way around here. Just look at what happens in any given thread where someone posts a good deal on a vegan product, and that behaviour has got nothing to do with finding a better price anywhere else.
