    It seems optimised for large power delivery rather than fast data:

    0.48 gigabits per second

    You should get a cable that supports the full 5 Gbit/s of USB 3.0 spec.

    240 watts is overkill for a monitor that likely draws no more than 30 watts.

    You need a USB3.0 Superspeed cable at a minimum to carry the DP alt-mode signal.

    USB2.0 cables only carry 480MBps data and PD signals.

    Look for a thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable, to know for sure it's going to have the superspeed data connection.
