No wonder they are cheap, terrible colour!

    • +3

Personally I just care about the computer mouse being good at what its designed for. Not about it looking good.

      • +6

It's hidden under your hand anyway when used 😂

        • But how will people online know I'm good at gaming if my gear looks crap?

    • +1

I personally run a G305 in Lilac. Went out of my way to look for it in that colour because the black looked boring.

It looks great on my desk. Of course my opinion is completely subjective and you might feel differently.

      • +2

Same, I still use G305 Lilac, because it was the only colour they discounted 4 years ago. I was not a fan of bluetooth mouse due to the delay, and surprise with G305 had no noticable delay.
Used heavily 24hr non-stop for WFH and gaming during lockdown, and still kicking now. Bought the blue one after back to the office, didn't want to use the standard wireless dell mkb provided by office anymore.

  • +1

I don't care about the color, do care more if it is wireless instead.

    • +9

no need to worry about charging/batteries. i went from wireless to wired.

      • Same here, in an office environment with a desktop pc, a wired mouse means I never have to think about it.

      • I use my Logitech mouse almost all day most days and I charge it by USB probably once every 4 months. It really shouldn't even be a factor.

      • -1

Charging or replacing batteries once or twice a year is not that much of inconvenience. If it were wireless, it would be deal breaker for me.

I tested 30 different postcodes and eBay wanted to charge all of them $9.95 for the cheapest postage option (Australia Post Standard Parcel + Signature):

Which postcode(s) charges something other $9.95 for Australia Post Standard Parcel + Signature?

      • +2

My bad. Postage was higher for me because I accidentally added two. Unpublished my original comment.

you can get the G304 which is wireless for $17.99 delivered

    • +2

      That is a fake

      • oh, as in replica of Logitech G304?

        • +4

Yes, eBay is filled with Logitech fakes. Notice that Logitech is not mentioned anywhere in the title or description.

          • @shxhshzhz: Okay, thanks, good to know.

would be interesting how good it actually is for that price !

          • @shxhshzhz: I noticed an ebay sale for the same mouse in this sale for a little cheaper and with free shipping, but bought from EB for the $19 + shipping because the ebay seller had feedback indicating they deal in fakes.

      • A lot more fake sh|t ones if you go Aliexpress too

  • does this has fast scroll?

    • +1

If you mean the hyperscroll feature where the wheel can freespin, no it doesn't. As far as I know, Logitech's mice with the hyperscroll feature are:
      M650
      M720
      M705
G502 X (both wired and wireless)
      MX Master 3S
      MX Anywhere 3S

Razer's Basilisk V3, V3X and V3 Pro also have hyperscroll, as do the Naga V2 Pro and Naga V2 Hyperspeed

  • Double clicking is a real issue. One of the side buttons started double clicking after a few months of use, same thing for the left click two years after that.

The shape is great for me, the wire is long(2m) for a cheap mouse and it has onboard memory. I still love mine, think I'll mod it out later.

  • First mouse last one year or so before double click issue (used for work and gaming) however the replacement mouse has been going strong for two years. Same for the one used by missus for work only.

Coming from an much older wireless Logitech gaming mouse (cannot remember which model, but it had swap out rechargeable batteries and weights you could add and remove to user preference) I actually prefer this one purely for the size and wired design not having to charge and swap out batteries.

The only negatives are the scroll wheel is a bit too light weight when gaming and the RGB light requires additional Logitech software installed to stay fixed to a colour through settings otherwise it cycles when just plugged in.

As mentioned earlier on my second mouse and when it dies I will likely replace with the same or similar model.

  • Where are the Mechanical keyboard deals like this… 🤷‍♀️

  • Oos lilac too

I got officeworks to pricebeat Kogan.com for a blue one

Seller has cancelled the purchase. Will avoid EB sales in future.

    • Mine too. And my $5 ebay plus voucher got wasted (not sure if the coupon gonna work again).

  • Just received an email from EB Games eBay.

We regret to inform you that your order will need to be cancelled … The reason for the cancellation is: The supplier has provided us less stock than expected

    Idiots!

    • In other words: "We sold you something we don't actually have, and it turns out we can't get it either. Too bad so sad. We regret that we have to give you your money back.".

  • Order cancelled. Pretty annoyed since I actually wanted this.

  • My order also got cancelled because they said they were out of stock.

I'm guessing their eBay stock and local stock aren't in synch, or they just can't be bothered getting stores to ship the orders individually to different locations.

Another example of their marketing team being useless and disconnected from reality.
