Does not include the playing cards, just to be clear

  • Not a bad discount, good idea about giving to the kids to get into Pokemon TCG too for Christmas present. Perhaps since it doesn't come with any trading cards buying a pack that goes with it might keep the kids happy.

Not even sure that is worth $10 tbh.
Who would even think about paying $90 for that.

    • That was my thought too. I have a whole lot of Pokémon cards from my youth but haven't really collected them for years so seeing an $80 discount is crazy. But there's no added cards, no theme decks, no promo cards, and no obvious reason for this to be $90 in the first place. This is a $30 maximum value and anything above that is just branding

That's not worth $10 lol. That RRP is crazy.

If you have kids, its worth the smile on their faces when they see it

      • +3

Smile and then disappointment when they realise there's no boosters to open😂

Exactly all these anti-heroes without kids are exposing themselves as being child-free in the comments.
The usual ozbargain people complaining about discounted ebgames items being posted.

sigh. wish these people could just…..not post?

a lot of fellas on here are obsessed with price per pack and that's it

          • @Aldonis: I mean I played pokemon go for a while, not interested in reselling or making money off it lol
I'm way past being interested in doing that for an idea of fun but as I am a parent i think it's a cheap Christmas present and my local has stock.

        • +1

I've got two kids who collect and play Pokemon. They'd much rather have another booster pack than this. Sleeves are much cheaper in bulk than this and the play mat never gets used, it just gets in the way.

I have kids that love Pokemon, my comment still stands.

I'll buy them some Booster Packs for Xmas, not some overpriced branding.

          • @Jessie Ryder: Where can you get a non-branded set of a fabric playmat, deck sleeves, deck box, and storage box for less than $10 or anywhere near that?

    • +2

Can you please show me a $10 deal with a deck box, 65 card sleeves and a playmat? This is perfect a a starter I think

  • +1

    $90? Lmfao

  • Not even worth tree fiddy

  • +3

$10 for a play mat seems decent. Plus those bulk storage card box prices are insane, the card stock on these boxes seem a step above.

    • +1

Yeah, I have several, the box is very sturdy and fits deck holders.

  • -6

Not a bad deal if this includes 500 cards, although it doesn't say if they are in booster packs or loose. $90 is a bit much, but $10 seems about right

    • No cards at all.

  • +1

These are atually really great for $10. I have quite a few (now) and I paid about double.

Just know what you are getting. Simple cardboard boxes for your cards are surprisingly not that cheap. Here you are getting a nice box (compared to say BCW), a decent play mat, some sleeves and deck box.

They usually sell this $19 don’t trust their RRP!

Do your kids actually play Pokemon TCG? Then it's a good deal ✅

Do your kids only collect Pokemon cards? Then it's not a deal ❌

  • Cheers went to my local asked if I could buy in-store was told no but if I order online they'd process the order within the hour, came back and picked one up 😅
