hope level 5s are not interest in those lunchboxes, i am shoping for kids.

    • +6

level 5 neged me? if you need lunchbox, that's fine, take it.

      • +1

        PM sent

        • +1

          Don’t leave us hanging…

    • +1

What lunch boxes? I'm shopping for kids too, neighbours' though.

    • +3

      No one cares.

    • Those are pretty awesome!

    • Micro switch joysticks so they're not going to be ideal for all gamers. Certainly the classic Neo Geo games.

      • Guess I'll be using the ones I purchased as bookshelf fillers haha

    • Not a lot of people emulating Neo Geo these days.

And for those that are; controllers with more buttons will still do the trick, and be useful for other systems too.

  • +4

I've been using a G305 mouse for 3 years straight. It was $40, has no problems, wakes the computer reliably, and I've only used about 3 batteries.
    Great mouse.

Membership exclusive deal? Says EB Plus and Mad Monday Lv5 exclusive, Sign in to see eligibility

  • Verifying that you are human….You are not human.

  • Seeing a lot of ridiculously high rrps and sub par 'sale' prices…

    • and $18 postage for 2 packs of pins wtf

  • +1

I got the 3 months eb plus from the PS Pro deal and most items are already sold out, including this mouse

  • +1

This or a VXE from AliExpress?

    • Better prioritise which one suits your hand size and grip style. Performance gain is minimal.

    • +1

Shape is king. This is a classic egg-shaped mouse (https://eloshapes.vercel.app/mouse/compare?p=vxe-r1-pro-vs.-…).
Being a newer mouse, the VXE has more modern features that enthusiasts prefer (i.e. not reliant on AA batteries), but this is cheaper and I guess you have Australian warranty if there's any issues.
Some might say Logitech is a bigger brand and has better QC, but I've had lots of double click issues with Logitech mouse in the past, so YMMV.

      • the VXE has more modern features that enthusiasts prefer (i.e. not reliant on AA batteries)

AA batteries are a massive feature, not a downside.

    • How do you know which VXE to pick on Ali? Or are they all the same thing, and I just go with the cheapest?

  • +1

Already sold out! Looks like the Lvl 5s snapped them all up!

website getting ozbargained (laggy) and no stock with 100km of Perth

  • Great mouse. Use it for both work and gaming, and still working perfectly after almost 2 years.

  • OOS instantly!

  • Unfortunately the items below are unavailable. Please remove the items to proceed.

    More click bait.

  • +3

Stay up an extra 2 hours past bedtime, open individual tabs on all purchases. As soon as it hits 12am instantly add items to cart and check out. Loading screen, Loading screen, the following items are unavailable.

Ends up purchasing nothing, goes to sleep depressed because you couldn't get any bargains like usual :,)

    Just your average EB experience.

  • +6

    DOA deal. What a shitshow.

If the items were sold out because of higher tier members having priority access, they should have been marked as sold out before the deal went live.

  • +2

Rubbish , when I log in, they don't have it in stock, and don't have stock to post to my address. In a word, rubbish.

No wonder you are going down and down.

    • +5

There's no indication whatsoever that stock was ever sufficient before the deal went live, as there was no option to add to cart till midnight for those without early access.

If the deal was sold out before it went live for the public, it should have been reflected on the website.

        • +1

The website still shows in stock for delivery, and only confirms none available at checkout

        • +1

When you write your address, there will be N/A to your address message. Try it yourself before you judge.

      • I think what people were trying to say was what a $hit show of an unobtainable deal by EB that was… For instance, I wasn't even after the hottest bunch of them as I knew they were going to get instantly gone, it was just a couple of mugs for the kid and even those were not obtainable with errors thrown all over the place. (both are still shown in stock .. )

    • 'There was sufficient stock when posted.' Stock count was not accessible before sale.

      • The sale was accessible prior to midnight mate.
It was just limited to lv 5 members or members with the eb games plus subscription.

And there was stock available then.
I had these in my cart and only cancelled after getting to payment screen because I had a moment of "I dont need this" clarity

Edit: negging me won't change the fact that you are wrong.

        • -1

Was not. It was a wishlist.

          • @vasil: You quoted someone saying 'There was sufficient stock when posted' which is true.

Not only was there stock available at the time of the deal being POSTED, there was stock available when it opened to everyone.
You can see a comment below confirming they did.

Just because you didnt get one doesnt mean there was none available.

Im going to assume you didnt know anything about these deals.
They were available to level 5 and eb games plus members for hours prior to opening up at midnight.

            • -1

@Originality: The quote 'There was sufficient stock when posted' has been unpublished from the poster.
              It is now not true.
That blows the rest of your argument.

              • @vasil: What the (profanity) are you even on about?
There was stock available when the deal was POSTED.
I know because I went all the way to payment and decided not to buy some.

And again, someone in the comments below said they got one when it went live to everyone.

                • -1

@Originality: 'Someone' does not make it fact.
x1 stock count does not make a deal.

                  • @vasil: again, THERE WAS STOCK WHEN THE DEAL WAS POSTED.
Just because you didnt have access to it, doesnt mean it didnt exist.

Im done with re-explaining such a basic concept.

                    • -1

@Originality: Yell all you want Mr assumptions.

Sale was/is to move the G203. The G305 was 'the basic concept'.

                      Have a nice day.

    • +1

Requiring a paid Battle Pass to get a deal isnt a deal.

      • -1

Do you throwa tantrum every time an ebay plus deal gets posted?

        • If a product gets sold out on ebay it reflects as out of stock straight away, not when trying set up delivery in checkout

          • @twister292: Since you think ebay is so perfect, tell that to the people who had their orders cancelled from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/880891

            • +1

@Originality: Not saying ebay is perfect. But EB clearly launched this as a targeted promotion first, and by the time it went public there was insufficient or no stock left. For the vast majority of us, we weren't able to see stock availability or lack thereof till we added the item to cart (because the website said they were available), only to be bumped out when choosing delivery or C&C.

              • @twister292:

For the vast majority of us, we weren't able to see stock availability or lack thereof till we added the item to cart

You could check the stock by seeing if they’re listed on their own eBay store. The stock is interlinked and once it’s sold out on eBay, it’s sold out on their own store

        • -1

Ebay plus gets extra % off, but normal ebay still gets a good discount.

          We are not the same.

          • @dbmitch: They do ebay plus exclusive deals. Not sure how you don't know that after 4.5 years on ozbargain.

  • +3

The website said it was in stock, but at the checkout, there was none available.

    • +3

Almost bait and switch…I tried other products as well, same result.

    • +2

Same here. Checked on another item, have already set my store for click and collect. Even though it says nearest stock was in NSW, the home delivery option was still saying it’s available. Denied at checkout :’(

      • +1

Yep, EBgames is playing this scam now.

  • +1

Can someone tell Ebgames to upgrade their website and perhaps get it off Dialup ?

  • Legit couldn't even load the site.

  • Will JB price match it? Definitely not.

    • Heck, they dont even stock the same Mugs, deliberate staying off each others tuff

  • EB Games is under heavy load right now!
Please try refreshing in a few minutes.

  • +2

I got in at midnight and snapped up a Lilac mouse. Thanks to the poster.

I realised I have been a member since 2012 and only just activated / verified my account 30 mins before the sale lol.
    I am level 2.

    • Thank you for appreciating the deal.

  • -2

Laggy and very slow website with no item available.

  • +1

    Ghost sale

  • Did you guys give up? Let me access once!

  • +1

Well I'm happy with my $19 Logitech G203 mouse purchase. Was going to grab the G305 but no stock within 100kms of me, still very happy with the G203 for that price! Been using mine for a year now but I know the dreaded double click/scroll issues with most of the mice I've had over the years will show up eventually so great to have a backup ready :)

    • +1

I was also able to get the blue 203 just now for $19 happy days

  • -1

Why does it say that the deal has expired? It is still Monday.

    • The deal was active for 30 secs after 12:00 AM :D You missed it =]]

    • Because its out of stock.
Just report it as out of stock and the mods will fix it.

  • +1

Seems drama likes to follow you around OP 😭

  • I managed to score the blue g203 just now. Click and collect. Thanks OP.

    • Yup, and whatever is still in stock on EB Games, their eBay store has updated their prices

  • You’ll be able to do a price match with officeworks for G305. It came down to $27.55 for me.

    • What is the fastest way to achieve this ?

      • I called them.

  • +1

Just another FYI, the headset deals are also atrocious. The Logitech G Pro X (Gen 1) headset is on sale at EB for $199, the same model with Shroud branding is $109 on Logitechshop ebay.

  • -1

I am send a report to the ACCC now, stating that these are not evaen available at Midnight at the start of MAD MONDAY. They should have enough stock for at least 1. I spent 45 mins trying to get 1. Waste of bloody time

    • The sale started hours before midnight. It was just limited to level 5 or eb games plus subs. Just like with ebay plus deals.
Except at midnight, the remaining stock of items became available to everyone else.

      The ACCC can't do anything.

    • You have right to be mad on Mad Monday. No worries.

  • G203 order cancelled… Ordered at midnight too.

"Our team looked far and wide but couldn't find all the items you ordered.
We've refunded you for the item below, please note it can take 1-4 business days for your refund to appear in your account."
