[QLD] Free Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier Sachets @ Reddacliff Place (Brisbane City)

120

Another scorcher of a day in Brisbane today, so it is quite apt that Liquid I.V. are giving away free sachet samples of their Hydration Multiplier product at the top of Queen Street Mall (near the old Casino). There is a DJ spinning some tunes so if you are in the City you can swing by for some fun vibes and free samples.

The marketing blurb from their website:

Hydration Multiplier is a great-tasting, Non-GMO electrolyte drink mix powered by Cellular Transport Technology to hydrate faster and more efficiently than water alone (3x the electrolytes).

Mainly Passionfruit and Tropical Punch flavour samples but they do have some Lemon Lime too.

Apparently they can be purchased from Costco and Chemist Warehouse.

At least they have shelter today, unlike the Fanta peeps yesterday….

Also, that "DJ" is probably just using Spotify shuffle play, with a bit of acting on the decks…..

    • Ohhh yes I forgot to mention they do have umbrellas for the staff today for all the concerned OzB citizens out there.

If the DJ is using Spotify, they are doing a good job of pretending to mix things and keep themselves busy :)

      • From the pic it looks like she is just on her phone. LOL I would bet Spotifying.

Liquid IV, if you read this, do you want a great marketing idea? Donate some to the Rural Fire Service + SES volunteers. It would be greatly appreciated!

I can't speak for every state/service, but we're told that we need to drink the hydralyte mixes every few hours, and we pay for them out of our individual brigade's funds.

    Dehydrated hydration? I.V. ?
What would be the result of somebody actually using these for IV hydration, rather than oral?

    It's got what plants crave!

Do you come with the sachet?

These are supposed to be very good, bought them from iherb a couple of years ago for my daughter with POTS after researching. They are overwhelmingly sweet for us though. She won't drink them. I've been working through them half a sachet max or just undrinkable. Feel no different.
This is personal taste of course, most people probably love them but wish I could find a good one with minimal sweetener. I think I have watermelon flavour or something like that, maybe the lemon lime is better.

    • Yep bought some and they made me sick. Hydralyte is better

  • Much better option than solid IV's. Or gaseous IV's.

  • They should be there till around 5pm today BTW
