It doesn't have the tv eye, so colours are not linked to the tv?
From one of the reviews:
"3.0 out of 5 stars
Cannot be extended

Light are good but it cannot be extended if you try the extended strip does not light up also it does not connect with Alexa or Google app, I tried reinstalling the all the Govee Home skills but did not work."A quick look shows this is only via Bluetooth, hence you can't connect to Alexa or Google. Unless Govee make a Bluetooth hub.
I was going to try soldering 2 together but I don't think the app would have recognised the extra length. Didn't end up trying either as also realised it was Bluetooth only so returned it. Light spacing were too far apart for my liking also.
An alternative is Kogan
https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-smarterhometm-rgbic-smart…It's Wifi so can work with Alexa or Google Home. It's likely Tuya so I think you can also flash its firmware?
I have these. Behind 85” tv. 5m wasn’t enough so had to have two of these. Couldn’t join them to make it one.
Bluetooth only no WiFi.
Brightness is good.
Couldn’t get them to sync to use it to pick up tv voice to change colors so have kept static using timer. This doesn't seem that cheap - Olight's 5m O-strip is only $20 (plus shipping, which is $8). If you buy 2, it's actually cheaper than these ones from Amazon, and almost certainly better quality (and IMHO more trustworthy).
Wbere do you get that?
I'm guessing it's these. https://amzn.asia/d/42mQYFT
Like these? Mine arrived couple lf days ago. Not bad for free & $7.95 shipping but doubt they can be joined.
Can’t tell if these can be linked together… manual doesn’t say.
