Thanks to your comment in that Lego post I went and got something else I shouldn't have! Don't know where I'll put everything. Even under the table is getting really packed.

"Don't know where I'll put everything."
Then you may want to check storage king, or realestate.com.au. LOL

It's more about keeping it in a state where my wife doesn't kill me. We have "plenty of space", she just doesn't want stuff where people can really see it.

I suppose I also want stuff presented a certain way. The same books/games or whatever together in one place. It's getting harder and harder to keep it all how I like it. I've had to put overflow in other rooms and under tables.

Sounds like you'll need to buy a new table then

I want to rearrange a couple of our bookshelves but they are off limits. The books have been sitting there since we moved in over 10 years ago and I'm pretty sure she's never touched them. They are small books and I can put them in rows 2 books deep, stack other stuff on them or even put them in archive boxes somewhere else but I'm not allowed to do anything.

        • Decorative bookshelves. Interesting.

  • I'll agree with the wife that Gunpla are toys

  • It says ineligible to combine with account credit.

    • Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
    • (Promo) Credit and gift cards should be different.

    • The 10% gift cards were fine because cashback is eligible for:

Purchase of products in an eligible category paid with gift cards

Promotional Credits like $10 credit for $200 gift card purchase are ineligible and different to your gift card balance :)

      • Ok but most people just redeem those, turning them into account credit.

I guess if youve kept them to use in the checkout process then you win!

If you save a gift card to your account it's still a gift card amount, I don't believe it turns it into account credit.

The gift card balance eligible for cashback is viewed here: https://www.amazon.com.au/balance (even though it's redeemed, its not classified as a credit)

The gift card balance of $200 in my screenshot is eligible, & the ineligible credit appears under 'Promotion(s) Applied'. Make sure the credit is deselected as that voids Cashback.

Also, Credits / promotions that invalidate cashback are [frustratingly] automatically applied, and need to be unselected like my screenshot shows, during the payment method step.

  • Anyone know a good deal on kids scooters?

  • anyone spotted any good board or party card game deals?

    • +1

Heads up, there should be a steam board game bundle coming up again on Humble Bundle if you missed it last time. Sorry I can't find the deal on OzBargain from last time.

Edit: Found it.. No guarantees but there was a leak on social media that it will be part of the encore this year.

Root (and its expansions) is discounted 11 dollars cheaper than it was (no sale) during black friday, very highly rated strategy/war board game

a lot of games are more expensive than they were during black friday sales so worth double checking ccc, but i'm probably using this an opportunity to get stuff that doesnt typically go on sale

That's what I picked up after seeing the cashback. It's not an amazing discount at $62 but it doesn't seem to get discounted much and I've been watching it for ages. I'll get the expansions when they get a tiny bit cheaper I think.

  • What the…. there is a website called About Amazon? Presumably made by Amazon…. this is mindboggling to me…. instead of posting this directly on Amazon itself, it does a sidestep to…. reduce interface clutter? Interesting…
