  • @Hiphopopotamus Saw this earlier but didn't dare to post lol. It has been a while so I upvoted :)

This started yesterday but I didn't see it until last night.

It's fine, the mods even added a tag so you can block these deals now.

      • Oh didn't know the mods added and they are prepared for the -ve.
This is 20c in total so better than 10c.
        P.S. I didn't neg your reply.

  • +33

Yeah this place is going to go to $hit if saving 10 cents becomes a ‘deal’

    • +8

Totally agree with you. That will be height of desperation.

    • +7

      Agreed. No deal here

  • +2

What can 10 cents buy you ????

    • A single grape, maybe more?

  • +10

    Pathetic bargain 🤷

  • +2

fantastic to see that the 'erm actually you can just mute this rather than complain' suffix is now spreading to more rubbish

  • +6

shopback believes this is what an OZBer. is worth

  • +5

This is basically Shopback rolling a coin down the street lol

I was thinking of muting these but they provide me such comedic value, I'm too amused to even neg 😂

  • +2

    Oh Happy Day

Free money is free money. I like earning 20c for taking a dump every now and again.

    • +1

Didn't neg but genuinely curious, what would be the least you take? If it was 5c for a check in would you still do it? How about 1c each? After all it's free money

And followup question, would you check in 20 times for 20 cents?

    • +3

This is less of how much it's worth, but more of how much disrespect shopback is showing by promoting this rubbish

  • +3

*User wish to block blah blah blah - commenting so I can neg.

  • I scraped my car off a concrete post last week its going to cost me $500 to repair, thanks Tim Cook this 10c will really help

  • +1

Can i pay $0.1 just to double downvote Apple and SB on this

    • +3

Pay me 10c then it will get another downvote ;)

  • Some people are slow while I already warned this as micro marketing months ago.

According to Google: "As of July 1, 2024, the national minimum wage in Australia is $24.10 per hour." — and that's 2410c per hr, 0.6694c per second. 10c equals to 14.93 seconds in this case. If you think Apple paying you 10 cents for 15 seconds of your time is acceptable, then go ahead. But if you factor in taking out your phone, lighting up the screen, opening the app, finding the page, clicking the button, waiting 10 seconds (assuming there's a minimum time requirement), and everything else that takes more than 15 seconds, you're basically working for Apple and SB at a rate lower than the legal minimum wage.

I look at this differently, I got paid to poop :P

  • +1

    What's next? 1-cent deals?

  • Lol .5 cents

  • +7

You can also get a free $1 or $2 coin by returning abandoned supermarket trolleys at my local supermarket car park. Maybe I should post that deal, given it’s 10-20x more profit than this deal.

    • +1

I never see coins in them

  • Clicking and reading the comments on this deal is better then the $0.10 😅

  • -1

Ten cents are still ten cents. I will always pick up a coin if I see one.
