    Thanks for posting! What are you thoughts on the Riverfolk DLC for Root? Apparently it's only good at higher play counts? How would it be for solo play? AI would control everything anyway wouldn't it?

      I like playing as the otters but they do rely on having other players trade with them, so they can get easily choked out at lower player counts if 1 or 2 just refuse to trade.

    That's a really good deal. Terraforming Mars inc. Prelude (very important to have prelude) has never been at this price from memory.

    I prefer playing 'analog' board games, but these are much cheaper, require no storage space, you don't have to worry about components being damaged by someone else or losing them, you don't have the hassle of setup and repackaging after the game is finished.

    I recall an older program that some people used to use to play sometimes unauthorized versions of board and war games online; it might have been Vassal: https://vassalengine.org/

      Tabletop Simulator (TTS) is where all this action happens these days. It’s great for trying out games or playing online.

      Nothing compares to in person board games though.

    Do any of these support multiplayer on a single machine (split-screen or hotseat)? A quick scan of all the descriptions on humble bundle suggested that most only offer online multiplayer?
