      Thanks. Today to another store and managed to do it. They are now very diligent about making sure you you not pay with gift cards. Two years ago I could buy many Coles Myer GC with Celebration cards that I got for 15% off.

    My understanding is that the only type of Shell service stations the Coles Group & Myer gift cards are supposed to work at are Shell Coles Express and Shell Reddy Express, because if you go to the Shell fuel finder and enable the Gift Cards - Physical Card filter, the displayed results are only for Shell Coles Express and Shell Reddy Express.

    If you go to another type of Shell service station (e.g. Shell NightOwl, Shell OTR), the Coles Group & Myer gift card is not supposed to work there.

    I appreciate this may be a bit confusing, especially since newer Coles Group & Myer gift cards only have the Shell logo printed on the back (when they previously had the Coles Express logo printed on the back), plus the Coles Group gift card website says the gift card works at "Shell".

    What type of Shell service station were you at when you attempted payment?

      Thanks for the reply, I went to shell Boronia in Vic 3155. Will try Shell Coles Express and Shell Reddy Express.
