Thats about $20 off their usual 'most of the year' sales price. So yep, good deal.

I had paid $235(queen size) for this like 8 years ago…was good for a couple of years..but now have some uneven patches …waking up sore sometimes…
don't know what was the warranty terms back than..so from personal experience…it is good for lets say 5 years..and than downhill from that…different ppl might have different experiences though

    • Yeah I need a mattress for a year or two so picked up a queen. For under $300 delivered it’s not bad - considering Koala and other more expensive brands probably have similar longevity issues

Even if it lasts 3 years it's a bargain. Every 3 years new mattress and out with the dead skin and sweat and whatever else. $100 / year.

    • +1

Did you rotate it? 😂 Like the tyres

    • I'm the same, mine is 5 years old and getting a little rough (although I don't know if the back pain is due to me being 5 years older). Put a mattress topper on it that seems to have given it a second wind but I imagine it'll get replaced in the next few months.

Seems like they haven't changed the design in the last 5 years, so I'm happy to get another. I paid $230 5 years ago, $277 is a great price still.

    Still any good?

Great mattress. I got one as a cheap "interim" between replacing an old exy (like $3000) mattress and finding a new one, but it's been fine for the past few years and haven't even thought about replacing it. King for $300 = no-brainer.

    • I have the Queen and recently bought the King Size. The queen has lost some of it's spring over the last 10 or so years I have owned it as the King is a bit firmer. But both are great beds and for $300ish great value.

  • Showing Postage AU $15.05 for Queen, total AU $287.27 with eBay Plus?

    QLD Metro

    • Strange, mine was $279 with free shipping for Sydney.

    • Free shipping only to selected areas it seems, I get $45 to rural NSW

  • any firm foam mattresses?

  • King size OOO :(

Chiropractic? I can feel those vertebral subluxations melting away.

This or IKEA mattress as ikea also has 40% off today

    • I also noticed this. My wife mentioned that she preferred this as it has a pillow top, where the IKEA doesn't. I'm not too sure if that's true or not.

(our is ~6 years old now and needs replacing)

    Terrible quality

    • +1

Why? Everyone else seems to like them

      • 6.5 out of 10 on reviews

I have a king single, queen and king for these all have held up over 3 yrs,.can't complain and cheap, cool watching the mattresses expand out of the box

  • +1

Had ours for nearly 3 years, paid about this for a king size. Like others we'd just moved house and needed something in a pinch.

I've always liked it but my partner has always complained that it's too soft.

Anyway, have since sold it for $150 and moved on to a store-bought, foam-boxed $1500 sack of fabric and springs. The things we do for love…

  • I had the king single for a few years and it was great for the price. Did start collapsing in the middle after a couple of years, but still have it as a spare bed and it is usable. I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent (5-10yr) solution, but great value for a spare bed or something interim if you are going to change from queen to king when you next move house etc.

    • +1

The common element seems to be '3~5 years, great' So if you consider this a $75 a year bed for 4 years, that seems to be OK value compared to some beds approaching $1000, which you'd need to keep clean and rotated and everything 13 years to match the value

Just replaced mine after 5 years. Was starting to sag in the middle and giving me a sore back.

Hard to complain for the price, just make sure you swap it at 3 years.

  • I have a king for myself, and a single for my boy. No complaints whatsoever, it's probably been 6 or so years I've had them now. Would recommend, and buy again.

  • I can't imagine this would be good for anybody over 100kg? Any tall, heavier people care to share their experience with these?

    • +1

183cm, 115kg (large beer gut), 38yo. I've had our King for a couple years now. Some nights I get lower back pain, which wakes me up when trying to turn over. Other nights I'm fine. So I wonder if it's just me being overweight and unfit. Really happy with the price & quality otherwise, and would buy it again I think.

      • Very similar to me, thanks for your reply mate, really appreciate it. I think I'll give it a go, can't go wrong at this price

  • It goes low where you sit.
Its not for those who have back problems.

Note: You cannot return it as the size is huge and buyer has to pay the return fee which comes more that the item price.

Edit: Happy to sell it for 50% (unused, sitting aside since purchased a month ago), if someone around Adelaide.
