            @hothot: Would depend on the price difference and if you use specific attachment (Hair screw tool vs Mini soft dusting brush).

        Owned a Dyson stick before. Not really a fan of it.

        That's why I am checking out if there is a good alternative and Shark (a US brand) has a much cheaper price.

          It's $2 cheaper, like asking whether you should get a Tesla or a Dongfeng for the same price.

          You'll be disappointed with any cordless vacuum

          My v8 is 8 years old now. Battery runtime is probably half of a new one but still kicking and never let me down.

        I think another difference is availability of cheaper spares in grey market. Dyson has plenty available whereas Shark does not.
