Excellent. Just in time for summer

    • I bought it for winter. Thinking ahead.

  • Would be good if there is a fan only mode

        Ah yes. My bad!

    Buy for next winter!

Anytime is a good time for a heater in Melbourne.

White one NO Fan only mode. So can't use as a fan:(

  • Thanks OP. Now me ready for the onslaught of the coming winter. Let's get it on!

  • Just in time for sydney camping this weekend

  • Order placed 🙏 Thanks

  • Reviews are OK, but they note that the thermostat is a knob not a set temperature, and say there’s some annoyance with the anti-tip mechanism. Still for the price, good value

  • Never heard of ceramic heaters before. Get this or stick to the oil heaters?

  • Just a heads up, I purchased the Goldair 2000W Ceramic Tower Heater back in winter.
This unit seems to run, then heat itself up, turn off for a few mins, then turn back on.
I believe it's some sort of auto-fire safe feature.. we returned it - it was annoying.

That sounds like every oil heater.

  • Expired?

  • which one is energy efficient

    • +3

Split system, by far. It doesn't even create heat from scratch like these heaters, it pumps heat from the outside air (even if it's cold outside) and then blows it inside. Massive savings.

All the heaters in OPs post are exactly as efficient as each other, 1:1 electricity into heat.

      • Thanks..I meant which one out of these two is efficient. I don't have split system

        • +3

These two are as inefficient as each other. One just uses more electricity and generates proportionately more heat.

      • I seriously considering getting a split system for my house to replace those 30 years old ducted heating and evaporative cooling.
I plan to get 3 units for the 3 bedrooms but I haven’t had an idea for how much it would cost here in Melbourne

        • It costs a fortune, have you seen one installed? About 4 vans rock up with tradies

          • @Bertus: We got one for the first time from Coldflow, very quick install, ran wires to the meter box, punched hole in wall, installed, was a good experience. and it's a great unit.
