Great price! Maybe ATL? Quicker than the EVO plus. Delivery takes a few weeks but worth the wait if they deliver. Enjoy.

The 128GB card is the newer quicker 180/130MB/s vs the older 160/120 MB/s you posted.

You only get this speed if you are using Samsung microsd reader. On a regular reader and in devices such as cameras you will get around 90MB/s read and write.

I also tested the microsd cards with my Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and got 90MB/s read and 50MB/s write on both evo and pro cards. I believe the low write speed is a limitation of the SD card slot in the tablet. So even if you use a Samsung tablet you don't get the higher speeds.

So there is almost no practical difference between the evo and pro for most use cases. Just buy the evo for $14 at Bing Lee or get Officeworks to price match it for $13.30.

          • @AwesomeAndrew: Between evo and pro which one is better for Gaming Handheld and Dashcam?

          • @AwesomeAndrew: UHS II reader will get you more than 180MBPS. I am using ugreen UHS I card reader and get 170MBPS. Around the same speed on my Lenovo UHS I card reader too. Not worth paying the extra for extra 10MBPS on the UHS II card reader.

            • @zealmax: Does that mean my mirrorless capable of UHS II would be capable of using the higher speeds?

              • +1

@WasBargain: Yes. If your camera supports it you can use cards that support up to 314 MBPS with UHS II. This doesn't necessarily mean high speed transfer between the camera and computer. All of the cameras I have used seem to max out at USB2.0 speed around 45 MBPS.

                • @zealmax: Cool, thank you!

Grabbed an EOS R last week and since moving from a beginnner, 10+ year old DSLR (Canon 600D) and wasn't sure if the camera supports it.

But googling now, apparently even that supports UHS II.. 🤔 Strange I swear it'd choke after like 2 or 3 burst shots.. And coming from a former IT background, I have decent experience in telling fake cards and don't buy from random vendors.

I haven't got to use the new camera yet though so am unable to confirm but I have quite a few of these laying around for my various action cams that never skip a beat.

                  Thanks again for your reply.

@WasBargain: Not on this card, as it's only a UHS I card so it will be limited to UHS I speeds (104MB/s theoretical, 90MB/s real world), unless your mirrorless camera claims to support UHS I cards above 104MB/s, but I don't think any currently on the market have this feature. You need to buy a card capable of UHS II for your mirrorless camera if you want the fastest speeds.

                • @AwesomeAndrew: This card is rated UHS I because it is far below the UHS II speed. It doesn't mean it can't be faster than UHS I standard. It is like saying that this card is rated V30 so it can only do 30 MBPS writes and we all know it exceeds it. Let's not get the minimum rated speed with it's maximum.

                  • @zealmax: What I am saying is that unless your device or card reader says it has special technology that goes beyond UHS I speed, you will be limited to UHS I speeds. Your card reader advertises this feature, but hardly any devices on the market do. UHS II is completely different and has extra pins to achueve faster speeds.

            • @zealmax: Exactly which model of ugreen card reader are you using that gives you 170MB/s?

              • @AwesomeAndrew: Limited-time deal: UGREEN USB C Micro SD Card Reader 2 in 1 Type C SD Card Adapter Memory Card Adaptor 170MB/s for SD/TF/Micro SDXC/SDHC/MMC/RS-MMC UHS-I Card Compatible with iPhone 16/15 MacBook iPad Galaxy S24 White https://amzn.asia/d/aERPMpz

    thanks got one

  • Does anyone have any recommends for a 2K security cam?

I was using Samsung 512GB PRO Plus MicroSD Card (2021) MB-MD512KA, but it was corrupted and is not covered by warranty as it's not meant for security cams.

  • Would this work with the R36S?

Yeh perfect for the OS slot

Thanks OP, got one for the DJI Mini 3 Santa is bringing me for Christmas

If you're getting the RC with a built-in screen, I'd recommend buying an additional microSD card so you can save the live stream video. There is a microSD card slot at the bottom of the controller. If you ever lose your drone, at least you have a low res copy.

Another thing I'd recommend getting is DJI Care Refresh. Enjoy flying

      • Thanks for those tips, I will definitely get the DJI Care Refresh. I have a couple of 32GB Micro SD cards laying around here already so will whack one in the controller. I didn't even know it could do that… neat!

Check if your old cards are fast enough, It doesn’t accept my “old” micro sd cards says speed too low

          • @mountaineer: They aren't that old actually, Sandisk Max Endurance that I bought for use in a couple of Raspberri Pi's, so they should be fine. Cheers.

            • @bonezAU: Yeah, that should be fine. Any MicroSD card that's compatible with Android (the controller runs Android) will do

Why not get SanDisk extreme pro 256g for around 36?

    Thank you. Bought one

  • Are these any good to use on camera that take SD cards?

  • Now it is $49.14, have they raised the price?
