    Usually they’re around $250

For the seconds/refurbs, yeah, but this is brand new

    • +3

      Needs eBay plus

      • +2

Add $4.99 for membership if you don’t already have ebay plus, still below $300. No brainer really if it is cheaper overall.

    • Can't claim TRS

      • Was that a question or statement? If the latter than it is 100% incorrect.

        • Let me clarify my statement. You can't claim TRS for $295.

@bar gain man: The store receipt will be showing the ad price which is $325, not the price you actually paid ebay after promo code.

    • Got a pair for $292.50 from Sony website few days ago, just need to sign up 10% off code to use.

Good for price beat at OW + celebration gc

    • -1

Should be $259.92 after PB and Celebration GC@10% off.
Although, isn't the everyday market deal better with 35% cashback? I think final price after cashback came to about $245?

    • Officeworks don’t price match applying codes!!!

  • I have the 1000XM3, love it. Useful in the long flight.

  • It's alright but not that urgent of a buy. I reckon this will be the easy discount price next year. So expect the price to be lower.

    • Got one for $265.04 a few days ago

      • That's good. I missed that one but got the QC Ultra one for $385.

        • I missed the QC ultra ones so got the xm4 instead

  • will jb hifi prime match $304? or $324 as they won't care about $20 coupon?

  • Costco has theirs for $309.99

Office works price beat takes it down to $294.49
With the 10% off Celebrations gift card from Coles it takes it down further to $265.04

  • HN are $325 with $50 voucher back as another option.

  • How are these as a gaming headset? Does it have low latency?

      • No mention about gaming but thanks

    • For wired gaming:

The Sony WH-1000XM4 are decent for wired gaming. Thanks to their 1/8" TRS cable, you can connect them to your PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, but you can't use the microphone using this connection. That said, they have a comfortable fit for long gaming sessions, and their bass-heavy sound profile adds an extra punch to explosions and action-packed scenes.

      • Looking for wireless gaming given these are wireless headphones. Thanks though

  • I ordered it yesterday for $324.

I'm trying to cancel it and reorder, but I am unable to cancel the order..
Amazon contact support lady said no "change of mind" option available for this product!!

  • Not to hijack this post. I just got one brand new at GC airport for $221. WHSmith (Inmotion) is having a BF sale

  • I have a pair of these. The ANC has screwed up and goes into a feedback loop until it squeals into your ear. This is apparently a common problem and the Sony charge something like $66 to even look at them, plus courier fees both ways to the one service centre in Australia, then whatever the actual did costs. Basically $150+ to repair. Put me right off buying Sony stuff again.

This happened to me with my ones. I was a bit outside of the two year warranty. But they'd still have a look at it or something like that. So they sent me a reply paid bag, I sent my headphones in that. They then sent me a refurbished set back.

It's started to happen again to the refurbished set. That said I use them daily and sleep with them on so if they died now I'd probably just cop it.

What they did to you absolutely sucks.

      • IIRC mine were originally refurb (damaged box) so they only had a one year warranty and they were outside that. What annoys me is that you can't easily buy spares or anything. I've opened them up and there aren't that many components, and it's probably a common one which is failing. On a product with a RRP of $400 I'd like there to be spares available. I ended up getting all new soft parts for my old Plantronics Backbeat 2's which are still going strong. I just have to replace the ear cups every year or so.
