AG over Ear Noise Canceling Headphones $119 Delivered @ Addicted to Audio

120

AG WHP01K is exact same as Final Audio UX3000. The specs and everything are exactly same except for some small things that I could not figure out. However, you get these for $119 while the UX 3000 are $240 in Australia.

Ag is a subsidiary of Final Audio. For those who don't know Final Audio is an audiophile brand from Japan.

These have great sound quality, the best among noise canceling headphones as per some reviewers.

The noise canceling is also good.

They also have multipoint connectivity.

No support for aptxhd or Ldac. There are better options on Amazon for this price

    • Why not link to them?

Plus at $120 it's unlikely you're getting something that's going to actually sounds better with closer to lossless audio, or even people using source files that are 24 bit to begin with.

    • Seemingly contradictory product description;

"High quality sound professionally tuned by final
The sound is professionally tuned by the Japanese high-end audio brand, final. With the unpleasant sound caused by Bluetooth being delicately treated, the WHP01K delivers superb clarity and a sufficient amount of bass"

How do these compare to AirPods Max?

    • Diff level.

    • uh Airpods max are one of the best sounding ANC headphones out there.

these are $119 which is priced with budget models. can't even compare them.

Bought these in 2022, everything seemed as expected for the price I paid for it but it had a mild but noticeable high-pitched buzzing sound when I was connected with the bluetooth and it was amplified when ANC was enabled. Which drove me nuts.

I tried to do an online return to this very store "Addicted to Audio" but the person handling the warranty claim said they couldn't hear the buzzing sound. Mind you the contact who handled the return verbatim said they "years of motorbike riding has given me a slight ringing to almost everything" so they couldn't tell. I either had to pay the restocking fee or pay to return it back to me.

To be fair it could of just been my specific pair or the person handling my warranty claim, your mileage may vary. Either way this experience soured me on using this store ever since.

That's sad to know. I think the customer service of addicted to audio has gone downhill in recent times. They used to be really great. Another thing I observed was they used to be really competitive with respect to prices. Now a days, they were not. For example, when we compare Hifiman prices from A2A and other sources, there is a huge margin which I believe they are not passing to the customers.

Regarding your experience with the ANC buzzing noise though, I do not hear it on mine. So, I am assuming it is probably a faulty pair. It is really bad on the part of A2A for not honouring the warranty.
