  • These are thin and wouldn't last. The below ones after great and lasts 2-3 years easily with daily usage, which I think I got for $70

I picked another 24 cm one for $28 from bigw.

    • I wouldn't be using it for more than 1 year anyway though.

      • Doubt if these would last even a year with normal usage. Of course YMMV.

  • Only Tefal Unlimited range/oliver range is worth to buy. The rest ranges are similar to Kmart/big w quality.

  • +1

Surprised people only buy cookware that last 1 or 2-3 years as per above comments. Buy stuff that lasts a longtime if budget permits rather than stuff being made destined for landfill in such a short period of time.

@kenjai why are you replacing these after 1 year? Tefal should last longer than this surely. Even this budget range even using daily. How are you cleaning them?

    • Lifetime for a stainless - yes

Expecting lifetime for a Teflon - no, unless you like leeching chemicals

  • True Ozbargainers use Steel Pan for life 😅

  • Disposable cookware isn't good for you, your wallet or the environment. Increase your budget and buy yourself something that will last decades. Oh and buy your kids a decent set when they are leaving home and tell them how to use and look after it.

    • Teflon shouldn't last decades. Get yourself stainless steel or cast iron instead.
