    I’ve already used my CR account for a past NordVPN offer. I’m assuming I can reuse the same CR account and just create a new NordVPN account?

    Remember not to add any additional products during sign up. Cash back only payable on the base VPN product.

    • Does that cover all plans from Basic to Complete? At 100% cashback, would be best to get the Complete plan.

  • Ok, so I just signed up for a 2-year Plus bundle. NordVPN quoted a price of $121.23 + $12.12 GST ($133.35 total). But when I paid (using PayPal), they took $169.83.

    What's going on here?

      Sounds like you got slapped with shitty paypal conversion rate (and possibly international transaction fee)

      • The confirmation email from NordVPN itself is showing the $169.83 so I don't think this is Paypal.

                @plmko: That's shifty! I literally purchased as soon as I clicked on the CR link (which clearly displayed 100% cashback rate). You're telling me they shifted back to 26% within the few minutes I took to purchase?

                Is there a CR representative here I can reach out to? Not happy I got shafted both by NordVPN and then CR.

                    @pclonan: I have requested a full refund through NordVPN under their 30-day policy. Really not happy with the double hits on this fiasco.

                        @whodatdere: Log into NordVPN (you do need to activate it first), find a contact us button somewhere at the bottom and get to a live rep.

                        They advised they will refund me fully in 1-2 business days. No email confirmation will be provided for this request, aside from the chat log (emailed).

  • I just purchased 2 year plan plus dedicated ip all coming to $291 but can’t see any tracking in Cashrewards am I eligible for the cash back ?

    • I'd use a new account (email, basically) when re-signing. Not sure if you can click through Cashrewards twice though.

    That was quick… Have my Nord subscription expiring in a couple months. I now have PureVPN for the next 5 years, but I do find Nord better overall.

    • I did the same, Nord is much better (and less ad-filled) so I signed up for this at 100% even though I have 4.5 years of PureVPN left lol

  • It’s saying 26% cashback for new customers. Not 100 percent. Am I doing anything differently or wrong?

  • I have screenshot of it saying 100% in Cashrewards app…. And after payment as new customer for base option I only got 26%

    Makes me doubt the amount it has in the Cashrewards banner on app

  • I’ve made an enquiry with Cashrewards, when clicking the link everything said 100% but only ended up getting 26%… normally I’d screen-record every transaction when shopping with Cashrewards. Today I didn’t and look what happened, got shafted straight off…

    If they come back with ‘nothing they can do about it,’ I’ll just have to cancel with nord VPN under the 30-day policy.

    Oh after all my smart-arsery in the comments, turns out I got shafted too. I clicked through at 100% and got tracked at 26%. Literally false advertising.

    (Edit: I've now raised a support ticket, which is painful because they make you go get an invoice copy which is annoying from Nord, and then asked for the advertised cashback rate or I will forward this onto ACCC and Consumer Affairs Victoria for false advertising :) )

      @Wolfenstein98k Sorry to hear. Unfortunately tightarse can't help you as he has left Cashrewards and is now the rep for another cashback company TopCashback.

      I've shopped more at TopCashback now since tightarse is working there. The best support out of the three cashback providers is still from tightarse at TopCashback.
