Solid deal on the ego hedge trimmer. Normally is $219 everywhere else.
Can attempt a price match at Sydney tools and total tools.

I have the 610mm version of this hedge trimmer and it's a good piece of equipment, compared to the other corded trimmers I have used. I had a recall on mine for a switch issue and got it fixed locally in about 2 weeks.
One thing about Ego is that tools aren't as cheap as other brands (Ryobi 36v, Greenworks), and seem to rarely get a decent sale on specific tools you will be looking for, their redemptions seem to get worse every year too, got to spend like $1500 to get a decent battery size. So if you are getting into the eco system and the hedge trimmer will make your life even a little easier then you should probably get this. On the other hand if you already have Ryobi 36v batteries then their 60cm hedge trimmer will probably be just as good and a bit longer.
Is it worth investing in this Ego Hedge Trimmer over the Ryobi 36v when I already have the Ryobi 36v battery? I'd need to purchase a battery with this one.
Havent used the Ryobi, but did use an Ozito 36v hedge trimmer for a while. Ego is wayyyyyy better than the Ozito.
Pretty much everything is better than Ozito. I have a fair number of Ozito 18V tools and they’re all kinda crappy 😕
I want to upgrade from Ryobi 3 set bundle kit to an EGO Select Cut mower (wasn't sure what else I could use the battery for in this ecosystem…) and now this deal comes round.. I'm not sure if my 300sqrm lawn and relatively large bushes can make this a justified purchase.. that's like
~1.1K for both mower and hedge trimmer..
Anyone got any input for me here?
