  • Feedback from users of this mouse?

I'll be keen to hear from ppl that's use this mouse as well as the DA V3 Pro and DA V3 HyperSpeed.

    TIA

Been using mine for 2 years, great mouse, I would buy some rechargeable batteries with it. I dislike wireless mouses that you still need to plug a cord in to charge, defeats the purpose of a wireless mouse. But with this mouse you never have to deal with a cord, it's great.

Only con is the usual Razer software bullsh*t, upon plugging in the usb it will put files on your computer and try to install it's software, just denied it and had to find the files to delete them. I don't appreciate the way they went about trying to install their software, just give me a link damn it and I'll download it if I choose to.

yeh.. "plugging in a cable is so much harder" then swapping out batteries and then recharging those batteries separately

The issue is when you want to use your mouse while it's charging you're now using a mouse that's corded instead of a wireless one, which kinda defeats the purpose of buying wireless in the first place. You also either have another dangling cord on your desk or a bulky charging stand.

It's just best to keep a few small batteries and swap out when needed. The mouse flashes red for days before the power goes, plenty of time.

  • It's a nice mouse, but I had the issue where if the mouse goes to sleep (eg. if I leave the computer for 10mins or something), then it would take forever to turn back on. I often just power cycled the mouse to make it faster which was kinda annoying. I ended up switching mice. Apparently this was a common problem?

That's actually a problem with many Razer Hyperspeed series wireless mice, happened to my Basilisk X mouse as well. But it's improved after a few firmware updates and no longer has that issue.

      • I didn't even think to update the firmware. Wonder if that'll help…

    • @bleemo which mouse did you change to?

      • I went back to a Logitech G305.

        Sorry for the late reply!

  • Nice mouse while it worked, I had no problems other than it chewing through batteries, $45 - $55 is the going rate for these, I paid $49.15 in December 2022 through Amazon.

Unfortunately mine died in less than 2 years, and the sensor no-longer tracks, I just realised it's still under warranty so time to make a claim :D

Technically the cheapest I've seen it (so plus vote), but for a few cents more I'd rather buy from Amazon. No fuss returns/credits, and virtually instant delivery.

    • And discounted gc makes it 3-4% cheaper

  • a worse deal than amazon, id rather get from amazon for easy hassle free returns for like 60 cents more, anyways im tossing up between this model and the logitech g305 wireless. both gaming moue both similar price. idk which to go for
