Oh the one that drives a rexy?

        • +1

The one that looks a lil mexy? Has a weird accent when she's hailing a texy? Think she's a witch cause she leaves you feelin' hexy?

    • +18

      You offering?

      • Make mine a triple

    • +1

what did your last slave die of?

  • +1

Seems to be completely unavailable in Perth area and can’t get it delivered either :(

  • +13

I guess that would be useful, if you didn't already have a drill and one of these.

      ^

    • +4

      Not waterproof like this

        • +2

The battery on this scrubber is encased in a water proof plastic cover. With rubber seals and everything. Haven’t had any water get into it yet

    • Scrubber is much lighter and you don't need to keep trigger pressed like you do with drill.

On the other hand, power drills spin at a much higher RPM than the scrubber. If you're trying to clean stubborn grout with the smaller hard brush, the drill will do a better job.

    • +1

I've done the drill thing. The bleach does discolour parts of the drill. No loos in function but some areas are my rusted and discoloured. Not that I care, but to consider

  • +2

If you already have the skin or drill skin - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/858593 - $27 currently, but drops to $15 regularly.

    • +1

Ebay sells these regularly for less than $10.

      • Not ryobi ones they dont

        • It was in reference to the 16 piece drill brush set from bunnings that Dealr posted, not the Ryobi deal posted. Those drill brush sets are pretty generic.

  • +5

Just what I need to clean the bosses Tesla

    • +3

      Is that a euphemism?

      • +1

No. I'm just cleaning a car.

  • +6

I find this better than a drill and brush attachment because I can use this in the water. The skin and battery compartment are water tight… Makes cleaning my feet in the bath a breeze 😂 😂 Wouldn't want to use my drill in the bath…

    • +1

Yeah I have one to, use it to easily clean the alge from the dogs wading pool for instance.

      • Hey @Franc-T, I'm also planning on getting this to clean algae from the swimming pool walls. Is it alot easier than using a brush?

        • +1

          Yeppers bigtime

  • +2

Does this not just flick the chemicals / dirt everywhere? Shower is due to a deep clean… and that was my main issue last time I rolled a ghetto version of this with a soap dispensing brush and an m10 thread

    • +1

I use mine in the shower all the time, works a treat.

    • +1

Sort of, but just don't spray too much cleaning shit on the tiles, or apply directly to the brush first. I use my Ozito impact driver & Ozito cleaning brushes, makes light work of 3 bathrooms.

    • +1

This rotates at a relatively slow rate, so it doesn't spray stuff everywhere. It has a lot of torque so you can apply a lot of pressure and it keeps on turning.

  • +1

    not available in WA? :(

  • +1

I have the telescoping version of this and absolutely love it. Would love to get this one too, but not sure I can justify having both.
I got mine to wash my caravan and solar panels on my roof. Brush is nice and soft and the action is gentle enough you won’t scratch anything, but it moves the dirt just fine.

    • I want the telescopic one, did you happen to buy it on sale? Wondering whether to hold out or pay full price

      • Full price, I’ve never seen it on sale

    • Is the standard brush on your telescopic one ok for solar panels?

      • +1

Yup, it’s fairly soft. It’s too soft for cleaning tiles (for example) but the extra brushes in this kit have one that is stiff enough for that.

  • Off topic, any suggestions for cleaning brush attachments?
Wire wheels bonus too if there’s a kit!

  • Is this all time low? I'm not sure how to find the past deals on this. Can someone link?

  • can this be used for washing a car?

    • +23

Yes if you’re going to respray if afterwards

      • +2

LOL right then, guess not… 😅

        • -1

Wash your car left and right up and down. Don’t wash in a circle as that is what causes swirling

I don’t actually have one of these but I don’t think they would have a soft enough brush anyway

    • I like shiny glass, maybe I'll stick to that and not the painted surfaces.

    • +1

Yes, but you need to purchase a different brush head. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-165mm-microfibre-knit-clea…

  • -1

How is this for polishing the car you guys think?

    • about as well as you expect

    • +8

      Excellent.
Great for achieving that matte effect that everyone is after

    • +1

Yes, but you need to purchase a different brush head. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-165mm-lambswool-buffing-pa…

      • That's a buffing pass designed to be used with buffing compound. It's for polishing your car. Definitely not for cleaning your car

        • +1

Considering the question was about polishing, my product recommendation was correct.

  • +2

My first impulse purchase on Ozbargain, let's see how it works out.

    • +1

      You're new here then? 🤣🤣🤣

  • Nothing helps manly up cleaning the shower like power tools.

    • +1

I don’t read books. Love my kindle tho

  • +1

Bought the longer version last year with a hard brush. Good for scrubbing tiles in the bathroom without having to bend down. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-one-18v-telescopic-pole-sc…

  • whats the original price?

  • +1

Can i use this for dishwashing? I feel so backwards having to actually gyrate my arm back and forth with a sponge to clean a saucepan.

    • Yes. Can also use it to clean yourself

  • Love a good scrubber

  • What's the biggest battery that will fit in the waterproof housing?

    • I use a 4.0 18v and that's the biggest I think, should give you around 2 hours of usage

  • Unavailable online? Hmmm

  • boo they dont accept gc's online and its oos pretty m7ch everywhere for click and collect

  • another ozbargain impulse buy, but I am happy lol

  • All jokes aside, I use a 50mm roloc drill attachment and blue surface conditioning disc on my cheapest Makita cordless drill.I use a few drops of water to help avoid scratches

Works a treat, and the blue surface conditioning discs are fine enough to not leave marks or scratches on tiles or vanities etc..

  • I just ordered one delivered for free with onepass. Does this come with the charger though? Or do we need to buy a separate adaptor/charger in order to use it?

    • +1

Yes, it comes with the charger

  • +1

I actually went through this yesterday. Standing in Bunnings looking at the skin only, browsing my phone trying to figure out the cheapest way to get a Ryobi battery and this popped up but only showed in stock at very few stores, went for a long drive today and got one. It's honestly a bargain considering the brush heads are $21 each and then you've got a battery and charger on top… For $10 cheaper than the skin only

Would've preferred the kit to be the telescopic one for a bit more but definitely won't argue with this price

  • what's the normal price of this?

  • Grabbed one, thanks for the share!

  • Sadly, can’t purchase it online now!

  • Ordered online. I'll think later if I needed it :)

  • Just picked up the telescopic version (and battery kit since we're a DeWalt house normally) a few weeks ago, wish I'd waited and got this and the telescopic skin at the same time!

  • Can I scale fish with one of these things?
