looking for reasons to use this (so I can buy it)

      • +10

Do it to maintain the ozb cert.

        • i did !!

      • Your (or your partner’s) toes need a good brush and wash!

      • I clean the shower tiles with these and a cordless drill. Too easy.

        • Ditto, though I only have the three brush pack. I'll grab this as well as the extension and extras will be handy.

    • Probably better fir a deeper clean, and clean shower with softer rags after morning shower.

    • +17

I tried these and they weren't so good, now I take an Orbital Buffer in with me which is good for the legs and chest but a bit too heavy to get good access across the back. If anyone has any recommendations for what can reach back there that would be great.

    • You want to use a DeWalt drill in your morning shower? Kinky.

  • +11

For the love of god, if you have HSV R8 wheels do not do this.

    • Been having "deep clean around the house" on my list for a while. These tools look to help a lot in the process.

      • Careful about how you use them, some are pretty stuff and may scratch up some surfaces.

        • Note it, cheers!

    • How would a nylon brush negatively impact them?

      • +1

Would you use the brush on your bonut bonnet or door? Didn't think so. Most modern wheels are just painted and clear coated like a car panel. You'll eventually scratch the shit out of the finish on the wheels especially as you mash the fine break brake dust and dirt into the finish.

If you drive a 1997 Camry then go for it but no R8 owners are doing this (especially without any lube).

        • Thank God for alloy wheels

    • Luckily I have GTSR wheels… so I'm ok to use them! 🤣

      • Lucky. That was close but yes, fill your boots laddy.

  • How soft are the soft ones in this set?

It doesn't take much to scratch up a lot of surfaces once you're at drill speeds.

    • +1

Soft enough to use on benches and glass but it'll mess up the finish on a stainless steel cooktop.

    • Some plastic brush bristles are GLASS impregnated plastics so they can screw up fine surface very quickly. Use it at your own risk. Or do a test as always.

  • How long these will last? Not sure if it's worth to get an extra at this price?

    • +1

Depends what you do with them. You could wreck a brush in a single use.

  • +1

Thanks, bought a set. My cats and dogs will love these for their shower.

    • +5

Your cats and dogs clean their shower? I couldn’t even get my dog to take a bath let alone clean it after he finished.

      • +1

        Your dog smells scents. Cheers

        • He did, he also made scents…

          • +1

            @mapax: Sorry. RIP little fella.

            • +2

@MS Paint: No need to be sorry, he lived a pretty good life and was a goodest boy.

    Elbow grease is better

    WHAT'S THE NORMAL PRICE?

    • Around $28 from price hipster

    • +4

Was showing $27.95 if I recall under the orange tag.

I got it for $14.79. Within a few minutes of leaving my local bunnings I got a Google rewards receipt task and received 16¢. Winning.

      • Just got a Google rewards visit survey and got another 23¢

  • Careful with that toilet brush 🤣

  • +3

These are good for washing the car and bathroom tiles/tubs/shower screens. I use with my 18v drill.

Add some Jif for extra cleaning power.

Fyi if you also have a Dremel cleaning tool the Velcro attachment pad will fit allowing you to use much larger cleaning pads

  • Thanks, will get this one, and also the aldi kit for sanding stuff!

  • Will these deep clean my teeth?

    • I think they’re too big but you should try it and let us know how it goes.

    • Yes Mr Rex

      • Mr Ed?

        • With the teeth that size he is Mr tyransauraus Rex :)

  • Anyone know which head is good for, and won't scratch, shower screen glass? Any recommendations for best products to use with it. I've always used Koh and the glass cloth but my physical disabilities are making scrubbing mostly impossible. This would solve a massive issue!

    • +2

I use magic eraser (search for it as melamine sponge on aliexpress). Just use mild cleaning product and scrub away very easily. I always keep a sponge in the shower to give it (the shower glass) a quick clean before a finish showering.

      • I have used magic eraser for heaps of things but never thought of it for soap scum on glass. It doesn't scratch it? You just use it dampened with water or with something else?

        • +1

Yeah, water is enough in most cases, doesn't scratch the glass at all, but i wouldn't use it for reading glasses. Try it in a corner of the glass and see if it works. I never had any issues

    • Razor blades with a detergent as lubricant will take scum off the quickest without scratching.

  • do they work with other drivers such as Ryobi. looks like standard chuck use.

Bought 3 pcs set from aliexpress for $5

  • +1

Mine's still sitting somewhere from the last deal and haven't been opened

    • +2

Think I paid $19.95 for my set on a deal here and still sitting unopened in the garage

      • good thing with Bunnings is that you can get a refund many years after if you still have the invoice

  • +1

Any clue on which one's better? Aldi or Ozito?

  • +1

Picked one up today, my local didn't have the special price on it, but scanned at the special price no probs.

  • +1

    Bought one. Thanks OP

  • +10

Used the rounded top brush to clean up the skid marks in the toilet pan, took no more than 5 seconds at full speed with the Makita! Very impressive. Then it took around 2 minutes to clean up the walls in the toilet from the spray using the scrubber pad. This took the paint off the walls, so be careful. Now I need to repaint the toilet, doh!

    • +5

You made this crappy joke last time…

      • well, it is a logical joke

  • -1

Those are some nice looking dog brushes.

  • I picked these up, seems like a bargain to me

  • +1

Rubbish quality, broke one brush on its first ever use. save your money.

    • +1

Don't use the hammer function for these brushes as they don't stand the power. Just use the normal screw function and at a lower speed.

      • -1

Was using with the impact driver not the drill but still broke.

        • No shit. Of course it will break if using an impact driver. These are meant for normal drills

  • Shows as $27.90 for me, even trying different stores (Rose Bay and Rockdale).
