  • $10.59 s&s cost for a AAA 24 pack of the normal energiser max from the same link. Not sure what the difference is between Max and Max plus, but I assume they aren't that much better!

    • Max plus longer lasting and have a 12 year vs 10 year shelf life. The plus I ordered last 7 days for AAA has 9 years - stock must be sitting.

  • Cheap non-rechargeable batteries are not a bargain for the planet.

    • +1

I find alkalines much better for very long life devices like remote controls and clocks. For everything else there's LADDA

      • +1

I switched to lsd rechargeable batteries even for low powered devices, the issue with alkaline batteries - after a few years some may leak and destroy the device.

        • That's why you replace em every 12-24 months

    • +2

There's a lot of other sh*t people throw away that shouldn't go to the bin. Australia has 1 of the worst waste management systems in the developed world

TIL Energizer Max Plus is 'Cheap'

  • for some unknown reason - when I do subscribe and save and only put one item it drops the price down to $4.40.
