Max plus longer lasting and have a 12 year vs 10 year shelf life. The plus I ordered last 7 days for AAA has 9 years - stock must be sitting.
Cheap non-rechargeable batteries are not a bargain for the planet.
I find alkalines much better for very long life devices like remote controls and clocks. For everything else there's LADDA
I switched to lsd rechargeable batteries even for low powered devices, the issue with alkaline batteries - after a few years some may leak and destroy the device.
That's why you replace em every 12-24 months
There's a lot of other sh*t people throw away that shouldn't go to the bin. Australia has 1 of the worst waste management systems in the developed world
