TLDR: find us in front of 271 Swanston St, Melbourne.
Offering, at heavily discounted price and for a limited time, homemade biscuits and coffee cream granita made following the original recipes from our Italian bakery.
In addition, for the distinguished energy storage device hoarders of the OzB community, a free packet of our most expensive biscuits, Paste di Mandorla, for every purchase exceeding $10. Feedbacks greatly appreciated.
Dear OzB community, as I found myself constantly disappointed by the local Italian and Sicilian food offer I made the bold decision to start a small food business, bringing here my family recipes, used in our bakery back in Sicily.
I know the real Sicilian food, I grew preparing it professionally and eating it too and want to have Melbourne and Australia taste that too!
We are still in our early days and have 0 online presence, aside from a website built in two hours.
We are absolutely interested in getting your opinions on our efforts and products so far.
Do note that, right now, we are offering only homemade biscuits and coffee cream granita, but our next goal is to become the golden standard for Sicilian Street food and real granita. A long way to go, but we hope to gather the support of the largest Australian community of everyday skimpers and impromptu large spenders to propel out dreams of collective obesity (and happiness…collective 6xl happiness).
EDITED to remove a reference to "slavery prices". While we're working for sub $10/hour, I'm still my own boss and, sadly, real slavery is still a thing.
Good luck OP- what are your opening hours?
