    Yikes

Ah yes, the perfect trifecta: solar panels, Dogecoin, and a MAGA hat.

Can I get an NFT of the solar panels instead? Its not really a bargain without an NFT and I don't really want to save the planet, I just like the idea.

    • haha, could get a nice NFT series out of this.

Has April fools moved to November and nobody told me?

WTF? Selling Chinese equipment with MAGA rhetoric. How Ironic is this?

This maga shit doesn't belong in Australia

      • +4

It's here whether you like it or not. We aren't all woke lefty simps that want censorship and communism

Pro tip : people that do not want MAGA shit in Australia, are not woke lefty simps.

        They're just normal Australians 🤷🏼‍♂️

      • +2

Sounds like your hat is a couple of notches too tight.

  • Haha watt?!

  • +2

    This is great! 🤣

  • Any offer available for SA please?

    Any deal for team $Shiba

    • XRP I'd be willing to consider

  • +5

Is this a satire? MAGA hat, support DOGE coin, and celebrate Trump and Elon in Australia. However, posting a deal using China made inverter and panels.

DMEGC Solar are entering into the Australian with great pricing.

    Speak Australian much?

Edit: One of the downvoters must be the Australian DMEGC Solar are entering into.

  • -1

Is this an out of season April fools joke?

  • -2

I personally don't know why everyone is hating on this post. Dogecoin is actually a very useful currency with great technological benefits so it makes sense they take it as payment.
Regarding the MAGA hat, nothing wrong with a freebie, they are quality hats. If you dont want it dont get it.

    • If you dont want it dont get it.

You'd still pay for it, though, no?

      • +3

no its a free add on, read the post mate.

        • +3

          Goated Geoff8 reply

        • -4

There is no such thing as "free". If "free addon" is really worth $25, then you are paying $25 more.

          • +5

@bio: so your telling me they would be charging $2975 if it weren't for the hat.. sure.

            • @Geoff8: No. I'm saying that if I pay $3,000 and don't get the hat, I will have still paid for the hat.

          • +2

@bio: No you're only paying $0.50 more as this hat was made in a Chinese child-labour camp

            • +2

@Flapjack Fire: It is pronounced Chai-Nah

            • @Flapjack Fire: The manufacturing cost is irrelevant. If it's really "worth $25" then they can sell it to someone else for $25 and give me a $25 discount, or I can get the hat and sell it for $25. Ergo if I don't get it I'm paying $25 more.

              • +1

@bio: Yeah, but selling shit is hard - bundling it in with a solar installation accepting DOGE is not.

You realise they're just AI bots replying right? If they see the trigger words Trump/Maga/Elon/Tesla they're programmed to start attacking and insulting. They're not actually real people lol.

      • +2

        does. not. compute.

      • +1

Look up dead internet theory. Theory is it collapsed in 2016 and everything after that 90% bots. Have noticed some weird stuff.

"The average energy consumed for one Bitcoin transaction is 851.77 kWh, equivalent to about a month of electricity for the average US household."

Seems kind of counterintuitive to use crypto to buy solar.

      • +3

Gotta make up for that energy consumption some how…

      • energy consumed for one Bitcoin transaction is 851.77 kWh

I don't use crypto, but I'm pretty sure that number is made up. It's too high for one transaction, and it's too low for mining 1 BTC.

    • It's a joke coin. I was there when it started.

      • +1

Same. But I held onto mine. I didn’t sell during the big spike back in 2021, but despite still being under that spike, I’m currently sitting on a return increase of 435,000% odd, so if that’s a joke, I can hardly complain.

  • +8

Getting the popcorn for the ATO audit incoming….

  • I mean, this is surely a joke right? I will gladly pay $3000 in normal human dollars (plus the extra for tiled and double storey) for a 10kw system plus inverter

    • what makes you ask if it is surely a joke?

Just use the $3000 in normal human dollars (aud) to buy the DOGECOIN, then use that?

  • Not another joke post

  • +2

A company can sure lose a lot of credibility fast with a post like this

"No butchered installs, ever!" Just butchered sales practices!

  • Curious as to why it must a colorbond roof?

    • +1

Its easier for your complimentary roof paint to MAGA red.

  • +1

    Meanwhile, Bitcoin hit 100k USD!

    • -1

      incredible, isn't it?

  • +1

    Nice try ATO.

  • +2

It's cringe as hell you need to mention Donald Trump to sell anything.

  • Due to the Cryptocurrency DOGE, and it's certain value increase over the next year, we are are offering to help you use this deal as leverage to assist you with getting yourself a solar system on your roof.

If you were really that confident you wouldn't list the price in $. Advertise with a fixed price in whatever non-stable coin crypto you want and be a true "believer".

  • Why the hate? I don't get it. Genuine question.

    • Do you honestly believe you'll get a warranty with your purchase?

      • why wouldn't they?

        • If your cryptocurrency tanks.. or if your bad business skills turn you bankrupt… so many potential reasons.

Maybe Donald Trump or Elon will influence you.

          • @samfisher5986: I have been in the local Brisbane industry since 2013. That is a very good track record so far. Who knows what the future brings, but I can say that is longer than 95%+ of the local competition.

  • Get a free hat after paying that much? Is it 100% UV-proof, waterproof, non-running dye, machine washable, pet friendly?

  • so how do I get all this doge coin in the first place?

    • Coinspot seems to be pretty easy to use, and popular, in Australia.

    Caveat Emptor

Alan’s Trump-themed coffee shop is nestled in a quiet Brisbane suburb. As he opens for the day, he shows off his Trump merchandise: Make America Great Again hats, mugs and T-shirts.

But since buying the cafe six months ago and publicly showing his support for Trump, Alan says he's lost about 85 per cent of his customers.

"We're just going off savings at the moment. I sold my house a year ago — so I'm losing money," he said.

    • plenty of savings #DOGE

    • +1

      The schadenfreude is so strong

  • +2

Just because someone loves Doge, doesn’t mean they can’t install quality solar systems.

    • +1

      they prefer anger I think.

  • +1

Can we just leave U.S. politics out of OzB deals? Judging by the discourse here, it's not adding any value.

    • -1

Some people have seen the value in it. More + than - too.

      • I was being polite, but since you asked.

  • What a strange business marketing technique 😂
Could have left the stuff out about the hat and Trump and wouldn't have alienated half of your target audience 😂😂

    • It's definitely different.

  • Accepting payment in the form of a memecoin shitcoin linked to a man-child who will offload on retail at the right time. You've really destroyed your rep on OzBargain.
