I've been waiting on a deal for the 256gb. Think it will come?

    • Hard to say. 256 Max isn't on sale now so it might come if sellers are trying to move stock.

  • I think this is the normal price for this. I’ve been waiting for a deal on this or the 256gb.

There is a High Endurance and this Max Endurance. It seem the Max costs more.

      • This is correct. They are two different cards and the Max is better and therefore costs more. People get the two confused all the time. This is certainly not the normal price for a Max card.

  • I'll share my story about the Max 256gb. It's thicker than a usual card. After putting into a Blackvue it doesn't eject. Such a pain to finally ply it out without damage.

So those wanting a Max 256gb be careful what you wish for.

That is very unusual. Have you tried inserting another card? All microSD cards should be the same dimensions. It could be your device has a poorly designed slot.

      • The original Blackvue 64gb ejects fine. I now use a High 256gb and it also ejects fine.

Something to do with this Max 256gb but at the moment I don't have another device with a eject mechanism to test this.

Maybe it's a combination factor, Blackvue slot smaller + Max 256gb thicker

        • I've read that Blackvue is a premium brand so I'd be disappointed if they had this design fault. If that was the cause or part of the cause.

I haven't heard anywhere that the Max 256GB has bigger dimensions. If you could be bothered, you could take the card and stick in your phone or old phone if they have a slot. Mine doesn't have an eject mechanism but it's got slot that will only fit microSD cards, and these cards only come in one dimension regardless of capacity (GB size). Or do you have a friend or someone with a GoPro or something like that. It's a bit of effort though so I get it if you don't have the time.

          • @johnwickspuppy: Imagine my reaction when the card got jammed in the slot and won't eject.

The Max 256gb has gone into my tab at the moment, at least it doesn't present issue with the pin ejection.

  • It won't let me edit my post but in case you want here is the one from Sunwood-AU that costs $37.99 so it's a bit more expensive but it's local so you'll get it much sooner.

  • For those that prefer local stock, this is also currently selling for $35 at centrecom
