Zyliss Potato & Vegetable Chipper (Charcoal) – $42.84 (Was $109.95) + Free Delivery with Prime

I’ve been looking for one of these for a while now. Not sure about the quality, but $42 seems like a decent price compared to the usual $109.

If anyone has experience with this, let us know if it’s worth it!

I reckon in the time it takes to get this out. Set it up. Use it and clean it….i could have used a knife

  • Broke it the second time I used it. Took it back

Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder.

    Was $109😂

  • This was the normal price until they jacked up the price.

  • $109 is absolutely not the "usual price" fyi. i apparently bought this in 2021 for $28 and have used it a few times, but it's not really worth the hassle imo

    • I cook a meal that requires chipping Kohlrabi and it's such a pain.

  • I have one of these ..tad different design but similar idea.. can be had for cheaper than this on Ali.. Concept is ok but the amount of force needed to chop anything apart from tomatoes is too much. The "blades" are thin steel but edges are not really sharp so basically you are brute forcing the vege through the grate

    • I have one of those. No way that can do potato without breaking.

      • Actually it does potato chips easier than onions and carrots ..just have to use halves ..Though looks like the product you listed has sharper blades..this may actually work..can you share your review once you get it ?

    We use this, cost $7.50.

  • I bought this years ago for maybe $30?

Was good, but the amount of time it takes to set the blade, use it, then wash it, dry it, and put it a way, I got rid of it when we shifted.

Only worth using if you're after always consistent sizing, or are doing a large bulk amount. For a standard 2-4 person family, not worth my time.

    YMMV.

  • The handle is only plastic. It is not reinforced with steel. Total bad design floor. Leading to the handle snapping second time using it.
